We're going with this for our new college football world guys :

3.)Restart the file, select new conferences(likely a BCS Conference), and select lower level teams within the conference; ie: The Vanderbilts, Dukes, and Illinois' of the world.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------

It will be noted, that whatever conference we pick, there will be a team or teams off limits. IE: Texas, Ohio State, Alabama, etc.

Simple decision, 2 or 3. If it's two, then it will be 6 per, and 3 within each division. If it's three, then it will be 4 per, two per division.

Edit : Depending on the amount of conferences, I will be scheduling a Conference Challenge, IE: Playing one game against the other conference(user v user) or one game against each of the other conference(same thing.) So if it were SEC/Big East/B1G, then if you're User Vanderbilt, you'd be scheduled against a User Houston and a User Indiana(hypothetically).

Picked 3. Will allow greater recruiting flexibility(not fighting as much for same recruits, but still some overlap in key pipelines like Florida, Cali, etc), and should end up with at least a couple user vs user conf championships per season(In OTP we have 4 conferences...3 have user conf championships, the 4th woulda been but it's the fail big 12).

I went with two. Being a traditionalist... Ideally I'd love to see it be the PAC 12 and the Big 10 and have their champions meet up in the Rose Bowl. For a time the PAC 10 and Big 10 sent teams to face each other in the Sun Bowl.... so that could serve as a good secondary bowl for the conferences.

We can't edit any bowl tie ins with the exception of the Big Four.

I went with 3 conferences, allows for more teams to chose from, which would help in recruiting new users if we go that rout too.

Since we are no longer using the current OD, how about simming it just to see what the potential bowl game match ups are. First let those who want to save the OD to their HD so that they can continue with it off line, but if i remember correctly, EA does a deccent job of keeping the bowl tie ins accurate.

5 of 9 have voted, with 3 Conferences winning by a 4 to 1 margin. If and/or when 3 Conferences gets to 6 votes, I'll go ahead and get the conference selection vote up. We're making good time with this guys, thank you.

just voted for 3. would like to see as many OOC user games added as we can. also, there's 9 of us, right? So 5 votes for 3 conferences locks it up, no need to wait for 6 votes.

I know it does, I'd still like to see 2/3rds majority here. Poll coming later today for conference selections.
