How to post a scouting report, and proper layout.

    Alright,

    1. Title this the same way you have titled your game summaries threads. "Florida State - MurkYa21"

    2. On your first post, you will label your offensive and defensive playbooks. These are to stay current at all times, and you should edit the original post when you make a playbook change.

    That is all you do.

    3. When posting a scouting report about someone else you will first copy and paste the playbooks they were using at the time. Then, you will give a description of how they played on both sides of the ball. You don't need to go on a rampage or throw out every little detail, but things like who they used, go to players/plays, unique formations, if you saw wildcat, scrambling QB, really good WR, trick plays can all be discussed among other things.

You can go over to TT IV and check out how we have done some scouting reports to get a general idea, or you can just go off of my thread. Things I'd like to harp on: Keep your playbooks current, you do not need to make a post that says 'updated' or anything like that, just edit the original post - if they are all current things will be very simple. Incude opponents' playbooks in your scouting reports, if you do a scouting report and leave their playbooks out, and you mention certain formations or something along those lines it is pointless.

    Any questions, post here.

Use this format for your first post..

    "Playbooks:

    Offense - South Carolina
    Defense - 3-4"

change the playbooks to yours, obviously.

Remember to include what playbooks they used in your scouting reports of your opponent.

The proper format of writing a scouting report on someone else would look like this..

    ..

Offense - their playbooks when you played them
Defense - their playbooks when you played them

    - talk about offense stuff
    -
    -
    -

    - talk about defense stuff
    -
    -

    Everyone please reread this thread..

    1. post their playbooks when you do a scouting report
    2. the scouting report is for others to post summaries on you
    3. you don't have to post when you change your playbooks, it should always be current
