How to tackle Augusta Par 3

    I think some of the peopls are struggling with how short this course is...So this being an exhibition tournament and all here is a suggestion...Dump all the woods/long irons and put all the wedges in your bag....

    Wow I didn't even think of that - I posted a decent score with just my standard bag though - it can be done.

    what wedges? Aren't they already in your bag

    You have a standard loft wedge, pitching wedge and sand wedge i believe. There are other wedges such as the 'alternate wedge' and the 'gap wedge'. Where some holes require 3/4 swings or 1/2 swings - removing some woods ( as you dont need them on the par 3 ) and packing these wedges can make life a bit easier. :)

    Here are some more tips after our round tonight.

    Stay away from the trees.
    Stay out of the water, especially on the same hole.
    Don't bake chicken while playing your round, it will mess with your head. :(
