    2016 TMFL Mock Draft
    nfl-draft-2013-1071542-flash.jpg

The time is upon us, the first draft of the M16 TMFL cycle is here. While we have seen some moves this offseason, the draft has been relatively trade free. With under 24 hours remaining, what teams are still looking to wheel and deal as the next crop of NFL stars arrive on the scene.

    Washington.png
    1. Washington Redskins-QB Duncan Hamilton-Florida St.
With new management officially putting an end to the RGIII era by dealing him to Houston, the Redskins have to look towards a franchise QB with the #1 pick. Hamilton is the polar opposite of Griffin, a statue in the pocket with a rocket arm. In what is widely regarded as a weak QB class, will Washington pull the trigger at #1 ovr?

    Packers.png
    2. Green Bay Packers-LT DJ Patrick-USC
The Packers don't have many holes, so having the #2 pick is a luxury here. LT is one position that looks like it could use an upgrade and Patrick had a terrific combine along with a solid senior season. GB could also go for one of the talented CB's

    Titans.png
    3. Tennessee Titans(From Cardinals)-RT Ferrell Duncan-Penn St.
Marcus Mariota led this team to a division title in his rookie season. Now the dilemma is do they add another big time target for him or give him more protection?

    Bills.png
    4. Buffalo Bills-QB Jared Hoag-USC
The Bills must find a franchise QB. Will that cause them to reach for one here? Last time they attempted this with EJ Manuel, it didn't work out so well.

    Bucs.png
    5. Tampa Bay Bucs-CB Samuel Norwood-Wisconsin
The Bucs need everything on defense, but CB is loaded this year. However, opinions vary widely on who the best CB in the draft is.

    Rams.png
    6. St. Louis Rams-CB Jonathan Lowe-Florida
The run on CB's begins as soon to be Mexico City looks to prepare for "Burger time" in Arizona by shoring up the secondary. Which corner they like best is anyones guess but the coach is said to be a Florida homer.

    Texans.png

    7. Houston Texans-CB Morgan Redmond-Florida St.
The Texans are in the CB market also and Redmond's stock has been climbing since turning in the #2 40 time among CB's

    Falcons.png
    8. Atlanta Falcons-WR Dewitt White-LSU
The Falcons have a lot of holes to fill but they can't pass up putting one of the drafts fastest and strongest WR's next to Julio Jones. White is a dynamic target who looks to have all the tools

    Lions.png
    9. Detroit Lions-LG Wyatt Smith-Nebraska
Smith looks like one of those guys who can start for you for 10+ years. I was tempted to give the Lions OLB Tobias Russell here but the draw of an elite OL might be too hard to pass up.

    Chargers.png
    10. San Diego Chargers-WR James Brandon-USC
The Chargers could go WR or CB here but we think they will look to strike WR gold again and find their next Slaughter. Brandon had a great career at USC with Jared Hoag throwing him the ball and then put in a great combine.

    Seahawks.png
    11. Seattle Seahawks(From Broncos)-CB Michael Jackson-Auburn
It's only fitting that Cheez would select a guy named Michael Jackson. The Seahawks are up against a cap wall so they must continue to find solid players in the draft to replace guys demanding large contracts.

    Browns.png
    12. Cleveland Browns-MLB Antonio Travis-Penn St.
The Browns need a defensive leader in the middle of the field and Travis looks to have all the tools. He played a 4-3 in college but has the tackling skills and strength needed for the 3-4.

    Colts.png
    13. Indianapolis Colts-CB Torry Newsome-Oklahoma
The Colts are another team that could go a lot of different ways with their first round pick. However, pairing another corner with Vontae Davis would go along way towards solidifying their defense. They could also go DE here.

    Dolphins.png
    14. Miami Dolphins-CB Torrian Duncan-Pittsburgh
I think the Dolphins will looks hard at OL and FS Deshae Albury but ultimately will decide that CB still offers the best value at this points

    Jags.png
    15. Jacksonville Jaguars-DT DeAndre Patrick-UCLA
Adding a playmaker like Patrick, who had an excellent combine, and getting Fowler healthy should give Jacksonville the pass rushing weapons it needs to pair with Senderrick Marks

    49ers.png
    16. San Francisco 49ers-DE Jordan Carpenter-Rice
The 49ers have been looking to shore up their defense and Carpenter has everything you look for in a 3-4 DE

    Vikings.jpg
    17. Minnesota Vikings-WR Rashawn Myrick-Wisconsin
WR definitely looks to be Minnesota's biggest hole but do they see value here? Myrick is a physical dude but none of his numbers pop off the chart.

    Chiefs.png
    18. Kansas City Chiefs-CB Jamal Ross-Texas A&M
The Chiefs would love to get a WR here but I feel like most of them would be a reach. Instead, they look to make it 7 CBs picked in the first 18 picks.

    Saints.png
    19. New Orleans Saints-DT Russell McGee-Lambuth (WTF?)
No way, CaseyW22 hasn't traded his first round pick? He still has time, but if not we expect him to actually try to build his defense here. McGee looks like a solid prospect but the Saints could also go OLB, WR, or CB here.

    Jags.png
    20. Jacksonville Jaguars (From Pittsburgh)-HB Timote Gordon-Texas A&M
The Jags let it hang with a 55 OVR HB last season. Will they look to find a future workhorse or are they showing anyone can run the ball?

    Cardinals.png
    21. Arizona Cardinals-CB Aevry Butler-Texas A&M
The Cardinals are looking to improve their defense so they can compete now. Adding another solid CB alongside Peterson would help quite a bit. Look out for OL here if the corners are too picked over.

    Giants.png
    22. New York Giants-DE Shon Bell-Florida
The Giants need some help in the defensive front 7 and Bells looks like the best value. Don't be surprised to see them go go OLB or DT either.

    Jets.png
    23. New York Jets-RT Antwan Curry-Miami
The Jets have a solid roster but some help on the OL can never hurt.

    Seahawks.png
    24. Seattle Seahawks-RT Noah Pope-Alabama
Pope is a giant and the strongest T in the draft. The Seahawks love to run the ball so Pope would be a welcome addition late in the 1st.
    Cowboys.png
    25. Dallas Cowboys-CB Phillip Poteat-Auburn
This is the Cowboys lucky day as one of their few weaknesses just happens to be this drafts strengths. Poteat didn't perform well at the combine but he is one of the bigger CB's available which is usually a good trait to have.

    Bengals.png
    26. Cincinnati Bengals-WR Jamal Brackett-Oklahoma
The Bengals need to replace the offensive production of Mo Sanu. Is Brackett worthy of a 1st round selection or is he just another workout warrior?

    Bears.png
    27. Chicago Bears-CB Kian Scott-Florida St.
The Bears have a couple holes to fill, especially on the defensive side at SS, OLB and DL but CB is valuable in this league and they take the best left.

    Patriots.png
    28. New England Patriots-LG Grant Russell-Texas A&M
If the Patriots want Garrapollo to be successful in his first season, they will have to give him some time.

    29. Baltimore Ravens-LT Jimmy Jacobs-USC
The Ravens are in a position to go BPA and they do that getting the massive LT Jacobs

    Panthers.png
    30. Carolina Panthers-SS Denard Gray-Nebraska
Gray could come in and be the instant starter in Carolina. He looked solid at the combine and has playmaker written all over him.

    Raiders.png
    31. Oakland Raiders-OLB Michael Fernandez-Tennessee
The Raiders have built a solid team and showed it with a Super Bowl appearance. OLB and DB's look to be the focus on this 1st pick.

    Eagles.png
    32. Philadelphia Eagles-LT Javonte Moore-Nebraska
The Eagles OL was shook up by the unexpected retirement of Jason Peters. They would be ecstatic to find a replacement bookend T this late in the draft.
