Human vs. Computer Stats So Far

OK so I put my money where my mouth is and entered in all the rushing and passing stats for human vs. computer games so far - minus the silly FCS games and also the Stanford/UCLA game.

You can find the document here (its not formated all pretty like so be ready for it to be hard on the eyes lol) ...

    http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?...iSF9idV91blljM2c&authkey=COaQwv0J&hl=en#gid=0

    Passing
    Humans - 290 for 511, 4,889 yards, 56.8 percent, 16.8 yards a completion, 24 INTs
    Computer - 301 for 594, 3,717 yards, 50.7 percent, 12.34 yards a completion, 46 INTs

    Rushing
    Humans - 475 carries, 3,419 yards, 7.2 a carry, 11 fumbles
    Computer - 329 carries, 1,119 yards, 3.4 a carry, 14 fumbles

Or to sum it up, the computer offense is horrid.

well the most glaring issue there are the INTs, which actually kind of surprises me. the other stats there aren't as big as they seem IMO because most of us have been playing scrubs. get into conference play and I think most of that evens out a smidge.

The interceptions dont surprise me at all since the computer is playing from behind all the time and the users are too busy killing clock to make mistakes in the passing game. Plus did I mention that the cpu is and always will be bat shit stupid?

i think that's the case against some of the crappy teams, but it looks like some of the games against better opponents the INTs were the big difference. I can't go back and look because Dynasty site is down, but i believe both Nebraska and Florida had a ton of INTs - and both FIU and Washington didn't really have overly impressive stats.

Washington has one guy with like 6INT's...him and that MAN defense he plays is killin em!

I had 3 against FIU and i think 1-2 against FCS.

My corner has 8. I def play more man than zone, but that's mainly cause I've played FCS and Ball State the past 2 weeks. Why play a lot of zone when I have the defensive advantage. However I did have a bunch of picks vs ND in week 1 and I mixed up man and zone a lot. But back to the guy with 8 INTs, the CPU insists on throwing to his side all game it's crazy, my corner on the other side has seen not work so far this season.

btw just to clarify these don't include the FCS games, since i'm assuming we won't be playing those guys again.

It's not that the CPU is horrid, actually. It's that the users stats are high. 7.2 avg/carry? Geez...

Yep pretty high but I know I haven't played a single good defensive team yet. And we all know Merih hasn't either, geez.

(it also looks pretty this time).

    Passing
    Human - 406 for 711, 57.1 percent, 6947 yards, 17.11 a completion, 29 INTs
    Computer - 428 for 849, 50.41 percent, 5139 yards, 12.01 a completion, 51 INTs

    Rushing
    Human - 696 carries, 4692 yards, 6.74 a carry, 21 fumbles
    Computer - 450 carries, 1557 yards, 3.46 a carry, 14 fumbles

The big difference there is human yards per carry down almost half a yard.

Yeah definately harder to run now. My O line didnt block anyone, half my runs were for a loss. Oh well time to bust out the option vs cpu.

yeah i think they're pretty good and they've evened out a bit the last two weeks with more balance between games against powerhouses and games against mid-level to shitty teams.

Not sure I'd want to see the rushing numbers sans Clay.
