I just started getting into Rock music. Don't ask me why after 26 years I've suddenly gotten addicted to it but it has happened. I love Hip-Hop and R&B and old school music but something about Rock just makes me want to chug a beer. Which I love to do. I listen to 93X at work all day because when I first started, my co-worker listened to it all day.

So, can you help me find songs to put on my iPhone?

    I'm talking past and present.

    Any suggestions are welcome.

    Thanks

depends what kind of rock music. I am into metal, thrash, classic rock and alternative a lot but I really need some reference. What kind of bands did you recently start listening to?

Now, don't make fun of me because I don't know what is in with the kids but I heard everything from Godsmack to Metallica to who knows what else is on the radio. I'm open to opinions. I've always liked certain songs by Nirvana and Red Hot Chilli Peppers. I don't know most of the bands so that is where I get hurt when trying to find songs. There are like 5 songs they play on the radio right now one including Rocky Mountain Way by Godsmack that I like and that Bully one by I don't know who...

Metalica showed up at the AFC championship game vs the Titans unannounced pre game tail gate party. They are huge Raider fans. They have been around since 83 local east bay dudes. Tons of songs with lots of range. check them out. one of my all time favs

I still can't believe Godsmack covered Joe Walsh with Rocky Mountain Way smh but they are a great band. Check out some of these bands

    If you like Godsmack:
    Pantera
Alice in Chains (one of my favorite bands ever)
Black Label Society (my favorite band currently, Mafia and Blessed Hell Ride are the goddamn shit)
    Zakk Wylde
    Black Sabbath
    Dio
    Megadeth
    Deftones
    Saliva
    Sevendust
    Seether
    Chevelle
    Stone Sour
    Slipknot
    Drowning Pool
    Soil
    Korn
    Rise Against
    Cold
    Iron Maiden

If you like Red Hot Chilli Peppers:
    Nirvana
Rage Against the Machine (I bet you like them)
    Foo Fighters
    Guns N Roses
Sublime (not really rock but great music)

I am a bigger classic rock guy than anything, but I doubt you like that stuff. Seems like you will like this alternative slam a beer fuck yeah music which I also like lol

Metallica is my favorite metal band of all time, if you are into them then check out these albums: master of puppets, justice for all, black album, and death magnetic. skip everything else by them.

That is cool Metalica is big on the east coast too. My dad worked with Cliff Burtons Mom and when he died they painted an awesome pic of him jamming on the side of our math wing that said "Thank you for the years of beautiful music"

My mom met my dad at a Doors Concert in Golden Gate park long enough to have me and my brother. He was a vietnam vet with long hair and she was a rebellious hippie so I grew up on that shit! The force is strong in you
