As I have mentioned to you guys, doing a better job of tracking the league in its entirety is my #1 priority for NCAA 12. I wanted to share (some) ideas about how I'm going to do this and then get suggestions about how it might be done better etc. And then if you guys have suggestions on things you'd like to see done differently (or in addition to) what I have planned I would love to hear it. My goal here is to create something that we can reference at any time but yet something that won't take me forever... I do get busy at times and I also tend to drop things if they don't go quickly (like team previews this season where I didn't do the Pac 10... lol) The first thing is that each season I will create a thread entitled (for instance: NCAA12 - 2011 (Season 1). This thread will be closed. It will be an overview of the events for the league that year including a week-by-week rundown of scores / Award winners / Recruiting Rankings /stuff of that nature. I am hoping to get in depth with this, using EA's spreadsheet tools to upload those to google docs and post up lots of statistical and record-keeping goodness that way. But of course it can't take more than like 15 minutes or I'll probably fall behind or fall off the horse with it. At a minimum, as far as record-keeping is concerned, will literally be keeping a treasure-trove of those EA spreadsheets documenting everything I can from each season. Each week I will create a thread when I advance and again entitle it in a way that we can search the forum for any particular week we want (N12/2011/Week 1) if we want to go back and read. This is where people will (hopefully) post game recaps etc. Even if you're playing the cpu I'm hoping to have a short recap from you. I hope that we will get "into it" on the recruiting side this year and have a lot of in-depth discussion on recruits we have signed and/or are fighting over, etc. I appreciate any insight or suggestions you might have about how I could do a good job of running a league that you'd be interested in returning to.
