Decent review overall, but it leaves out talk about the game play which it says is more of the same?

I thought the new tackle and blocking system along with improved zone D and some other tweaks would make a huge difference in game play.

Maybe some guys that have it and have played can chime in but this review leaves a ton of info out.

    Thoughts?

I tend to agree. I don't really have a great source for gaming reviews but I know they are either too generous or too negative.

that's especially true of sports games (there's a reason Operation Sports is so popular - the IGNs of the world don't cover sports games well at all).

dont read what the actual site has to say see what the user reviews say. that is what i usually do. go to ign, game informer, gamespot, etc. and read the user comments and ratings. developers pay the heads of those sites for good reviews...

well i disagree with that. they don't pay for good reviews - not directly.

there is, however, a conflict of interest since most of those sites receive most of their ad revenue from gaming companies - especially big publishers like EA.

for sports game reviews go to operation sports or read what guys have to say here.

for everything else I really, really like GameTrailers and GiantBomb. They are much better than Gamespot or IGN.
