Now that Free Agency is open I wanted to make sure everyone is aware of roster limitations on the console. 1) You must always have at least 1 player at most positions (aside from CB/WR where the limit may be 2 or 3) That means you cannot cut a player if he is the only person at his position until you sign another player. If you need an exception to this rule please see me and I will discuss with you how to handle it. 2) The Max roster size is 56 players. That means if you currently have a 52 man roster, you can only sign 4 free agents. If you plan on signing more, you better start cutting players from your roster IMMEDIATELY. If rule number 2 is not strictly adhered to, you will lose out on any number of your free agents that you've won. Think about it - your limit is 4 players but if you are winning the bid on 5 players then 1 player will NOT get signed on the MLM console. In fact, all of them may not get signed. Theres no way for me to tell what will actually happen. What I can say with certainty though is if you do not follow the rule, you will get screwed one way or another. You can easily see your roster size by going to the roster breakdown tab of front office. In the event that rule #2 is not adhered to - any free agents that were not signed will go into a second free agency period (which I will now call regular season free agency because the season will be open at that point.) That free agency period will operate exactly like the first period and will last a few days. Eventually there will be no free agency and players will be able to be signed on a first come first served basis. Again, very important that you all adhere to these limitations.
