LOL, my bad. I know what boards are, i'm just not that familiar with them in a footy sense. I used to play with them but it was an old hockey arena. Was fun actually, I just thought that my place was a one off. Had no idea it was a regular thing, other than maybe street/futsal
I need to get a pic of the facility in my town next night I'm playing. Its honestly a really nice facility in my eyes, but the only indoor facility I've seen. Turf, walls, nets and benches.
We just finished before the rain started. I et we got what hit you guys. Needless to say tho outdoor is a lot harder
Yeah, we played at 199 in Perrysburg yesterday... the fields are shit. They need to be rolled and grass planted. Between the rain and the field conditions yesterday, it was impossible to get a handle on the ball. For someone that has no touch, this didnt help matters. The pickup games at Erme Fields kinda started... pretty hit and miss so far with the turnout. Those fields suck too haha.
Haha yeah its hard to get the good fields reserved around here. Are the ones in Perrysburg open as well? Or is that where they're playing the leages? I need to start playing again.
I have my last indoor game next week before heading outdoor later in the month. I can't wait! Btw, you don't know shit fields until you've played in Alaska lol
I'm trying to get playing outdoors a lot more often this summer. There's a semi-pro team in Dayton that has open tryouts, and I'm thinking about trying out. I've at least started working out again as a start, we'll see how it goes from here. It would be awesome just to get out on the field with some of the guys that would be out there.
Its a whole different game. I need to chime into MoonBBad 's advice because I honestly don't know the responsibilities of each position. Last outdoor I played LW/LM, CM, and RB. CM was crazy, I really didn't know where I needed to be and the guy was like you're okay, you pretty much have to go everywhere.
