I'm pretty sure he'll go out as fast as he comes back lol. EA needs to turn injuries off again lol jk
Yea, my QB getting "regular tackled" (No hit stick) on the 1st played of the season and ending up sidelined for 7 weeks is legit....maybe he is just a delicate flower, but meh....the FA I picked up to replace his back up worked out well, to the tune of 450 passing yards, 4 tds, 0 ints...so I guess I can't complain.
According to our game last night, I'd say that's correct. You only injured 3 of them, plus 3 from other positions. Just once, I'd like to see a lineman go down.
Jacoby was having a good game too, and got tackle by the legs and broke his collorbone...I guess his feet aint strong like Tyrone's...
Jacoby is a beast, was asking for too much money but played really well for me. Hope he does well when he gets back
Meh, I've got depth..but clearly it's at the wrong position. Some of those guys will never see PT. Shoulda stocked up on TE/WR/QB's apparently.
Great Post Doug! I knew my stud WR from UCF got injured last night and he "dislocated his elbow"...but I hadn't looked to see how long he would be out yet. Thanks for the info! Didn't realize TJ's TE went down...ouch I'm glad to see all injury's aren't "broken jaws" Looks like the Bengals have been hit hard so far
Dislocated elbow is the new broken jaw. Same injury for Carr, who will miss 4 more weeks. I need to check when my BYE is...maybe I'll luck out and have it early.
I have to say, regardless of how "hokie" the diagnosis of some of these injuries may be, I do enjoy the injury element. Based on the responses that we're seeing, the injuries are forcing everyone to depend on their roster as a whole and not just their starting lineup as we may have in the past. What'cha gonna do when your primary offensive weapon or super-defender goes down? I always make sure to have at least TWO players that I can depend on as backups at WR, TE, CB, LB, and make sure to have at least one good backup safety.
WR A ROberts (85) with 92 speed is available for those that need a WR. He is my 3rd guy right now so he is expendable at this point in time.
Don't get me wrong, I like injuries as they are part of the game, but I'd enjoy it much more if the injuries were much more random. It's become clear that the injuries are incredibly flawed to the point that I know when my guy isn't going to get up from an injury. Every throw-away that a QB is hit on is an injury. I've also noticed it's extremely common on from-behind shoestring tackles, specifically in the end zone. But at this point, it is what it is….
