I just scrolled through every teams injury report and not 1 team has even a hang nail or turf toe. So I ask this questions. Are the injuries turned on?
Injuries are "turned on", but there appears to be a problem with them. We haven't seen an injury since season 1. Not sure if it is glitched because we turned off injuries for the simmed season, or if it was related to the update. Either way, the setting is on, I even bumped the injury slider up a little. Very frustrating.
EA turned off injuries for CFM head to head games to "improve the game experience". Apparently their update messed something up and they had to turn it off for the game to be playable until they fixed it.
Injuries will only occur during simmed games or User vs CPU games. All user vs user games have no injuries
Has anyone seen it confirmed anywhere that they actually turned them off completely? All I have seen mentioned is that they tuned them to occur less frequently. Are all franchises experiencing the same thing? Will we see injuries (in user games) if we turn the slider up all the way even?
last update concerning this per Josh Loomans twitter Josh Looman@Josh_Looman @Judgebredd @ClintOldenburg We’re discussing turning them back on while we investigate the problem.
There it is: Thanks Everyone! What a shame they had to do this. I am not sure what the issue was with injuries, they finally seemed relevant. I am assuming they broke them when they tried to tweak them in the last update, which led to them turning them off completely.
Unbelievable. Can someone tell me how long my best defensive player, Justin Houston, will be out with injury do to the damn sim game?
It says 5 weeks with a dislocated elbow on here: http://www.daddyleagues.com/QSF/players?name=&position=all&team=kc&sorty_by=OVR
I think you will be ok. I lost Colin Kaepernick and 2 other players because of a simmed game last year. had to play 4 or 5 weeks with BJ Daniels
I think Troy's comment is directed more toward the principle of the matter... that his game was simmed and the resulting injury was due to his opponent's lack of communication. Troy is probably more concerned about the player's potential (or now lack thereof) to gain XP than he is the game result or his team's potential to win in the future due to the starter's absence. Troy, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
I understand, I was just pointing out that I had to go through the same thing last season with my young QB and a couple of other young guys on defense. It sucks and I don't get why Madden decides to knock out some of the best players in simmed games.
