First of all, let me just say everyone in this league deserves a thank you for making this league what it is and a special thanks to LtJustice Michael Overman and CHUNKNESS for keeping this thing running like a well oiled machine. In this edition of "Inside the Q" we will take a look at a variety of things; a few teams that are surprising thus far this season (good and bad), as well as players who are surprising and those that are disappointing this season. *Nothing personal, so don't take it that way* SURPRISES The lone remaining undefeated team in the league, dablakpope and his Browns boast an impressive 6-0 record. Some may point to the fact the Browns haven't beaten a team that currently has a winning record and may be skeptical on Tyrod Taylor as a proven QB but this team has talent comparable to any team in the league, if not more. The calling card for this team is defense where they are 1st in ppt allowed and top 10 in total yards and rushing yards allowed. Another surprise so far this season is Jeremy and his NFC South leading Buccaneers. I originally pegged the Bucs as a team to watch during the preseason and I wanna thank Jeremy for making me look good. Like the Browns, the Bucs rely on a strong defense that allows a measly 58 yards per game on the ground and 19 pts per game. Honorable mention: Jags (CHUNKNESS), Vikings (Juan Valencia ) DISAPPOINTMENTS Josh Barnes and the reigning champs are off to a slow 3-3 start and are already 3 games behind the Browns for the division lead. The problem with this lies with the defense as they rank in the bottom half in points per game, yards allowed and rushing yards allowed. If they can correct their defense the Ravens will be right back in the thick of things come the end of the season. Division winners in season 1, LLCoolGrey and his Bears are struggling out the gate to a 2-5 start. The Bears have had a tough schedule to start and it only gets worse from here so the time is now for the Bears to turn it around. Honorable mention: Colts (thafuture3886 ), Detroit Lions (heathh ) SURPRISE PLAYERS Jimmy Echavaria - QB Cowboys, CaptMoe When Tony Romo unexpectedly retired, the Cowboys were left wondering who would be their QB of the future. Luckily for them, they had a young QB in the wings and Echevaria has not disappointed. So far he has thrown for 1889 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also has 14 interceptions but we can chalk that up to growing pains. Kenjon Barner - HB Panthers VinfortheWin Known mostly for what he's done at Oregon than for the Panthers, Barner has burst onto the scene so far this season and is currently 5th in rushing with 679 yards and 6 touchdowns. DISAPPOINTING PLAYERS Aaron Rodgers - QB Packers CSteud Often referred to as one of the best quarterbacks in the game, Rodgers is having a tough start to the season. Already throwing for 20 picks with only 11 touchdowns and only completing 56% of his passes, Rodgers is looking more average than anything. Cam Newton - QB Bills Michael Overman When Cam was aquired in the blockbuster trade last year many thought he would be the missing piece for a talented Bills team. So far Newton isn't playing much better than the previous QB EJ Manuel, as he's thrown for 18 picks and only 7 touchdowns while completing a measly 54%. Again, this is nothing more than a fun piece to add a little life to the league. If you've been mentioned, it's only up to you change it
Great Stuff Curtis!! Thanks I know some of you want to see the real Cam Newton Unfortunately the Bills have seen this years Cam Newton more often The Bills are keeping hope alive...This season may not be a division winner like Cam's first year with the Bills (sim season)...but we aren't laying down either...Expect a hard fought battle when you face the Bills
hey now! EJ is 4th in the league in passing with 1858 yards 19 tds and only 15 picks Cam 1056 7 tds and 18 picks! EJ just needed a change of scenery
"Division winners in season 1, LLCoolGrey and his Bears are struggling out the gate to a 2-5 start." Tell me this isn't why we have a new owner!?!
Naw he had alot going on in personal life... One of which was getting married. Thats what he told me anyway
