    Introducing TMFL League Central!

I've been talking to a couple guys who are revolutionizing this year's Madden Online Franchise experience. They have come up with a way to extract stats and publish them to a web site which quite frankly blows the EA site out of the water.

Here's the link to TMFL League Central:
    http://kcmaddenleague.com/tmfl/leaguecentral/

As you can see, it has the weekly schedule, standings, injuries, and league stats all in one place. It's much easier to navigate than the EA site and also includes some things (sortable league leaders & injuries) that aren't on the online franchise site.

Check it out and let me know your thoughts. I'll be updating this on a nightly basis (just a quick 15 second process) and we'll keep the link to League Central on our home page.

It actually pulls everything straight from the EA site, so once you find your madden game and log in, you will be on there :)

Is there a way to update your depth chart from this site?

Quick clarification - I didn't have anything to do with he creation of this. I just was able to have the guy set up a site for our league. As for the salary cap, I'm not sure how it is calculated but I can for sure look into it. Supposedly you can configure it to fit your own league's salary structure.

There is also a new thing called League Manager which is supposed to handle the administration of a league. I'm working on possibly setting that up too. It will automatically generate contract length and salaries based on player ratings and also handle the off-season free agency process. More information to come on that...

No not from this site. I'm not sure if the league manager tool will do that or not. I know you can do it from the EA site.

MEGA (a PS3 league) has done some testing of this. Check it out for yourself.

If both of these setups were implemented it would really change the face of TMFL and for Madden Online Franchise here at TF.

Yeah, I feel like Madden has taken a back seat to NCAA since the online tools were so lacking. This might be a game changer.

Step one would be to figure out how to use it, the next an easy way to implement it.

Haha, yeah I can see myself spending way too much time with this tool. I downloaded the user guide, so plan on going through that tonight with a test franchise.

A couple new additions to the League Central tool - defensive player stats and league leaders (see screenshot below)

Posted this in the week 8 scores thread, but wanted to link it here to show the progress being made by this League Central tool. Here's a sample box score from my week 8 game against Cincinnati...

Tool just keeps getting better and better. Most of this stuff is available on the EA site, but the LC site is so much easier to navigate and laid out way better.

Anyway I can get this set up for the SMFL? It would be nice because we have a salary cap structure that would be ultra helpful if it was automatically tracked.

Let me know how the salary cap structure works - haven't messed around with that on League Central yet. There is that League Manager tool I was telling you about that may be a better fit. Both those guys are collaborating now, so it will be interesting to see what they come up with.

Wanted to add - just did some quick testing and was easily able to extract the data from this tool to Excel. This will be perfect for archiving stats, standings, league leaders, etc from past seasons. Will keep messing around with it and provide more updates as I come across them.
