In a game that saw 4 different quarterbacks play, 3 turnovers, a kickoff returned for a touchdown, a pick-6, 4 field goals made and 2 missed, you would've seen it all and no this game was not affected by weather, just bad players. Iowa continued it's quarterback struggles as the hero in the game against Minnesota, true freshman Jesse Marshall getting benched after throwing 2 ints in the first quarter. Redshirt sophomore Jake Rudock came in and went 11-18 131 yards and 2 TDS. Rudock had his struggles as well being sacked 4 times for -41 yards, stalling out good drives in the process. The game came down to late in the 4th quarter with Purdue down by two just inside their kicker's range when Purdue quarterback Rob Henry went for a dump pass over the middle to his tight end was intercepted by Iowa's Tanner Miller sealed the Hawkeye victory. A few bright spots for the Hawkeyes were RB Jordan Canzeri's 28 att for 125 yards and 1 TD and TE CJ Fiedorowicz 7 receptions for 164 yards and 2 TDs. Next week the #19 Hawkeyes travel to Madison to take on the #7 Badgers.
