    Is this garbage legal?!?!?

This just happened to me in an OD game.

    http://www.easports.com/media/play/video/26215162

This is the best angle I could find, but I looked at it up close and very personal in instant replay and no one but the center touches the ball. He doesn't snap it to anyone, he just picks up the ball and falls into the endzone. It's like a "center sneak" if you will. I certainly don't know all the rules, but I'm pretty sure someone besides the center needs to touch the ball (even on fumblerooskie plays, he has to touch the QB's hands with the ball I thought).

    So, was that garbage legal?

    Was it an option play?

It was caused by no huddle. They weren't in wildcat, and I doubt that it was an option play. They were in probably 4 wide and got down to the 2 yard line. They were going no huddle and they called a goal line play. Because they went from 4 wide to goal line, they had a lot of people out of position. I stopped the run play and they called another no huddle goal line play. This time, before everyone got set, the center just snapped the ball to himself and fell into the end zone.

If the player knew that was going to happen then yes i would be pissed if it was a freak glitch then no. It all boils down to the intention of it.

Just to be clear to everyone, I'm 99% certain this was in a CPU game (jello was playing my Texas team on AP since I'm out of town). Jello isn't accusing a user of cheese here (although I need to figure out how the CPU pulled that play off so I can keep it in the back pocket lol).

Sorry I just assumed that this was a user game. most wouldnt direct questions to others about it if it was against the CPU, instead it would be a look what the CPU did to me thing.

Ahhh man, sorry again Brave but those NCAA 10 party chats (non-stop laughter) will lead to these joking comments for at least 2 more months.

Yeah. It was the CPU that did this. I've seen some really funky things with the CPU running no huddle (usually stupid shit like exhausting all their guys to the point that they have to populate the O-line with TEs and DTs) or no huddling from wildcat and then being stuck with a HB @ QB for a long time. This was the first time I've seen the CPU run an illegal play because of the no huddle.

i don't even know wtf just happened lol. did that center just run the ball up the middle?

btw slightly on topic - give it time before guys find some holes in the no huddle package wise. i'm willing to bet you'll start to see guys calling one formation, then no huddling to another and finding some exploits as a result.

Kind of agree... No huddle needs to be limited like Michigan or the other schools do in real life... Big gains or gains > 5 yards only, any losses or incomplete passes are mandatory huddles in my opinion
