You can start by posting ways you practice and work on your game.

I'm currently about to jump on the lab and then work on my defense, going back to the 3-4.

Then I'm gonna work on the Texas Tech offense and I'll be posting the adjustments I make, reads, and plays I like.

This is also a place where you can practice with others against certain defenses/offenses. I used to go into unranked games with buddies and have them work with the offense/defense my oppenent was using in that upcoming weeks game.

edit: lab games if you will..

One way you can work on your timing with jump balls is to go into practice with two controllers.

Pick 4 verts for your offensive play. On defense take out one of the corners and set the safety on that side back deep. Either lob it up yourself, or the CPU will toss it deep since you took out the corner...

They'll throw you jump balls and you just do this over and over until you've got your timing down.
