Cecil Shorts III Injury Costly To The Jaguars Jacksonville, FL - The Jaguars posted their first win of the season in week 6 against the Broncos, however, it came at a hefty price. Cecil Shorts III suffered a Glenoid Labrum tear (shoulder) late in the second quarter following a hard hit in traffic by Broncos linebacker Von Miller. "It was a clean hit," Shorts told the press following the game. "I was in the wrong place at the wrong time." Shorts is listed as day-to-day and is estimated to be cleared to return in 5 weeks (week 11). In the meantime, the Jaguars have signed Brice Butler, rookie receiver out of San Diego State who was released by the Oakland Raiders earlier in the 2013 season. The young receiver will have some big shoes to fill.
