    Colts 20 - Titans 7
Sometimes its all about timing. On Sunday, the day held true to head coach James Music who celebrated his 27th Bday. On top of that, the first meeting of 2 Division matchups against the Titans was about to go down. The Colts came into this game with a huge win from last week against the Browns, where the Colts defense just flat out shined. Holding the Browns to only 3 points. In that victory the Colts would lose FS Bethea for 7 weeks. With that, it was time for someone to step up. Newly aquired SS George Wilson got the nod at SS on only a short week of practice with his new team. Sliding into the FS spot, stood the youngster Joe Lefeged. Playing hasnt been nothing new to him, as hes split time this year with Brodney Pool...but today was the day to prove himself. He would be lights out, tallying up 7 tackles and forcing a huge fumble.
Coming into the game the Colts 4-2 and the Titans 5-2 shared a tie a top of the division, a win would slide either team into the 1st place lead. Lefeged got his standout day underway early. After each team swapped possessions, the Titans would put together a solid drive as they would cross midfield and threaten to score the first points of the game. Chris Johnson would take the ball to the left side of the field and with one man to beat, Lefeged dropped a shoulder and jarred the ball loose giving the Colts there first of 5 TO's on the day. This would prove to be the game changer. On that drive the Colts would drive downfield and Carter would punch it in too make it 7-0. The Colts took a 17-0 lead at the break.
Second half the Titans D came out and kept the Colts Offense in check. They would hold the Colts to a fg the whole second half. But, just as much as the Titans D stopped the Colts... the Colts were all over the Titans all day. They would pick off Locker 4 times and hold Chris Johnson to under 60yds on the ground. The Titans went into the hurry up O mid 3rd qtr being down by 3 scores and would have multiple chances of scoring. But the Colts D would prevail. A late score with under 2 mins left put the Titans on the board but it was too late. Colts win 20 -7.
GG Marvis. See ya in Indy ;)
