Joseph and Frisk's Power Rankings - Week 10 Joseph and Frisk's Power Rankings - Week 10 Rank Logo Team Record Change Comments 1 New England Patriots 8-0 Confident Gaddy and the Patriots continue on the road to perfection. The Patriots have had no problems through the air and don't seem to be slowed down anytime soon. The Chargers will need to play extremely well this week to execute an upset. 2 New Orleans Saints 7-1 The Saints make a hop towards the top this week after the Eagles tough loss to the Cowboys. Nate and the Saints have made a living relying on the pass. Pretty boy English has played exceptional this season with minimal mistakes and connection with Devery Henderson on numerous accounts. The Saints will be tested this week against the Titans. 3 Oakland Raiders 7-1 The Raiders are extremely hot right now. With the most impressive passing game in the OMFL they continue to put up huge numbers. This week they will compete with the Denver Broncos who are under new ownership. Expect the Raiders pass game to dominate and stay on their steady course. 4 Philadelphia Eagles 6-2 The Philadelphia Eagles have been the most explosive all around offensive threat and a lockdown defense but the defense took the week off against the Cowboys in week 9. Giving up 477 yards in the air makes it tough to still get the win. If the Eagles want to get back on track they will have to revisit their pass defense. 5 Indianapolis Colts 6-2 The Colts are fresh off a win against the tough Jacksonville Jags. This win puts them in a prime position to take the tough AFC South. The Colts will have to play well this week against a pressure defense in the Bengals. 6 Jacksonville Jaguars 6-2 After a hiatus for Big D and a controversial loss to the Colts, the Jags are back on track. They will now have a tough road ahead of them as they will have to play perfect football to secure a divisional or wildcard spot. This week against the Falcons look for the Jags to get back to their roots. 7 St. Louis Rams 6-3 Bluebean has done an incredible job with the Rams. Not many people at this point would have seen them as a 6-3 team. With a bye this week the Rams will prepare for an important divisional game with the powerful Cardinals. 8 Arizona Cardinals 5-3 The Arizona Cardinals are another squad which have turned around the franchise in just one short offseason. The Cardinals have a couple of tough weeks ahead of them as they will collision course with the Eagles, Rams, and Ravens. If they walk away with 3 wins this team will be confident enough to be a league contender. 9 Dallas Cowboys 5-3 Tony Romo blew up last week and got the Cowboys a much needed win in the NFC North. They are now just one game away from leading the division and are in prime position for a wildcard spot. They will still need to finish the season strong but look for them to keep it going this week against the Giants in another divisional matchup. 10 San Francisco 49ers 5-3 One of the toughest teams in the OMFL offensive and defensively is struggling as of late and need to get back to basics. This week against the Bears the 49ers can work their way back up to the top of the NFC West as it is shaping up to be a very tough division. 11 Washington Redskins 5-3 Jeremy and the Redskins better start to pick up the pace if he wants to three-peat. The NFC East is an absolute boat race right now, most likely resulting in only 2 teams making the playoffs. With the Cowboys and Eagles playing well, the Redskins have their work cut out for them. With the next 4 weeks being less challenging for the skins, it is important that they stay focused for an important matchup in week 14 against the Eagles. 12 San Diego Chargers 5-3 The Chargers are movin' up under the new ownership of sammy. With a tough game this week against Gaddy and the Patriots, a win would be very key in the down stretch of this OMFL season. 13 Houston Texans 5-4 The Texans have a bye this week and will have to sit on their tough 27-21 loss to the Chargers. They will need to rebound in week 11 against the 6-2 Colts. 14 Detroit Lions 5-4 The Lions are now leading the NFC North but have the Vikings and Bears close behind. This weeks bye and next week's game against the Seahawks will help them prepare for a much anticipated game 2 against the Bears. 15 Minnesota Vikings 4-4 The Vikings have been very inconsistent all season but were able to come away with a divisional win against the Packers. Being in a tight race with the Bears and Lions, the Vikes will need to take care of business until week 14 against the Lions. 16 Denver Broncos 4-4 Coming off of a bye week and new ownership, the Broncos have a wake up call against the most offensively dominant team in the Oakland Raiders. If the Broncos can pull off the biggest upset in this season, they will be getting closer to a wildcard spot in the AFC West. 17 Cincinnati Bengals 4-4 The Bengals are playing even football and find themselves leaving the weakest division in the OMFL. If they can continue to win when they should you will see this team in the playoffs. If they slip a few times don't count on them getting a wildcard. 18 Miami Dolphins 4-4 The Dolphins have played particularly well but being in the same division as the Patriots is no easy task. If the Dolphins want a shot at the playoffs they will need to perform better. 19 Kansas City Chiefs 4-4 The Chiefs this offseason went out and got some great talent at WR but are lacking at the QB position and it shows. Tank Lockwood has been a force in the backfield but Freeman's mistakes take away from their powerful offense. If the defense can step up and Freeman settles and delivers more consistently look for the Chiefs to move back up in the ranks. 20 Tennessee Titans 4-4 A 4-4 record just wont cut it in the AFC South. Big ox will need to return to his dominant play style to make a run the remaining half of the season. With two tough games in the next two weeks against the Saints and the Raiders the Titans will need to make some major changes to turn their season around. 21 Baltimore Ravens 4-5 The Ravens have been a streaky team this season but are just behind the curve of the AFC North. With a bye this week they can prepare with their tough matchup with the Jags. With plenty of football left, the Ravens can make a run at their division. 22 Chicago Bears 3-5 The Bears are a talented team but have struggled at times. They once led the NFC North but after a tough loss to the Lions they are now in third place, just a game back. They will have their work cut out for them this week against a tough 49ers team and will need to come away with a win in order not to fall behind. 23 Atlanta Falcons 3-5 The Falcons have had a lackluster season and are beginning to look like they cannot handle the tough competition of the NFC which they dominated a year ago. This week's inter divisional game against the Panthers is a must win. 24 Carolina Panthers 3-5 The Panthers have some impressive wins on the season but have been unable to put it together in clutch situations. Last week's loss to the titans puts them in a bind as they are fighting for a wildcard spot in the NFC. They will need to win this week against the Falcons to keep their hopes alive. 25 Buffalo Bills 3-5 The Bills will need to win a lot of games if they want a shot at the playoffs. A near perfect second half of the season will put them in position to be a post season player. 26 New York Giants 2-6 The New York Giants are struggling to find their identity on defense and on offense. With tough competition in the NFC, its just about time to play spoiler and plan next seasons strategy. 27 Pittsburgh Steelers 2-6 Ironically there is still hope for the Steelers in the AFC North. They will need a perfect season to have a legitimate shot at the playoffs. 28 Tampa Bay Bucs 2-6 Anything can happen in football but being apart of the NFC South just about puts them out of contention. The Bucs will have to do some incredible work to bounce back from their current deficit. 29 Green Bay Packers 2-6 The Packers have a shot to make a run at the NFC North. Being only 3.5 games behind anything is possible. They will need to take grasp of their divisional games against the Bears and Lions, which will give them more breathing room and out of the cellar. 30 Cleveland Browns 1-6 New Owner BobJr and the Browns better have a unicorn up their ass if they plan to get into the playoffs. If they lose another game it may be just time to shore up the defense and get familiar with everyone in the league. 31 New York Jets 0-7 With a few divisional games left its a crossroad for the Jets as they can choose to play for first overall pick or play as AFC spoiler. 32 Seattle Seahawks 0-8 The Seahawks look like the Hawks of old. Time to chalk up this season as a loss and get ready for the first overall pick.
