    Play Books:

    Offense- Air Force

    Defense- 4-2-5

On offense, the Jayhawks are moving away from the pass-happy spread and will be utilizing a power run-game which includes multiple fleXbox One looks. The switch has been made to better utilize the personnel Coach Max has on the roster. Kale Pick, a (RS)Freshman, has the speed and toughness to manage the fleXbox One and just enough arm to handle all passing duties as well. Coach Max is counting on Pick for the long term, as the entirety of the offense will be run through him.

On defense, to combat the speed and pass-happy nature of the Big12 Coach Max will be employing the 4-2-5 defense. He is familiar with modified Nickel scheme as he ran it at his Alma Mater (Texas State). Keeping 5 defensive backs on the field will dramatically improve the speed of Kansas' D, while at the same time there will still be 4 down lineman to go head-up with the Big12's great running backs and enormous Offensive lines.
