I saw that some of the other Tradition leagues had threads discussing player's tendencies, etc., so I thought I'd start one here as well.

I present to you, JR's K State Pussycats.

Offense - Noodle armed QB, slow receivers with hands of stone, HBs that go down faster than a Thai hooker on first contact. His game has a tendency to border on cheesy with his insistence on running away from tacklers and throwing the ball to open receivers.

Defense - Non-existent pass rush, stupid LBs easily fooled by play action, a secondary that couldn't cover their own shadow. He rudely stepped between my QB and my receivers multiple times towards the end of our game. Is that even allowed?

Anyway, just some quick first impressions. You're welcome Big 12.

I guess I can post a more serious scouting report now.

Offense: Montgomery is a stud. Very quick to the hole, smooth cuts, pretty much an even mix of inside and outside runs. QB was highly accurate, but didn't look to throw deep very often. Pendleton is definitely the big WR target, and he has plenty of speed to make you pay if you miss the initial tackle. Pass protection may be a weak spot.

Defense: Seemed to be looking to take away the outside runs. Most of my rushing yardage came up the gut. Plays primarily zone. Controls the FS, and JR is tremendous at making reads on passing plays. KSU did not seem to get much pressure on my QB, so you should have time to go through your progression reads.

Summary: Good luck! JR is a great player.

    Speed, Speed, and more speed.

Probably the best USER player in the secondary. Not really a close second. I threw three passes over 20 yards and two of them were picked.

Offensively he mixes it up really well, and his WR's are ridiculous. Just silly fast. My secondary is pretty damn good and he torched them for 370 yards.

One thing that I think everyone will be glad to here is that Montgomery is gone. The running back that set the new rushing record for the NCAA is gone, and thank god.
