Hey guys, I'm not in any leagues so I'm kind of bored around here outside the once in a while CB discussion. Anyways, I am going to be picking up a PS2 and have already ordered some games to get me going back on the console I grew up on. The games I have on the way are Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2, Need for Speed Underground, Underground 2, and Need for Speed Carbon (Carbon was part of the bundle, so I figured what the hell it was a fun game anyways). So basically, I'm going to go back and play all the PS2 games I had fun growing up playing and I kind of wanted to share my experience- I figured some folks would possibly be interested in this. Hope you guys enjoy, and I hope to hear some feedback throughout this!

Oh, and here are the rest of the games I hope to play during this. Some of these are ones I played and enjoyed, some are games I played but didn't understand at the time and think I could potentially enjoy, and some are games I didn't get a chance to play but now hope to.

    Dark Cloud
    Final Fantasy X
    SSX Tricky
    GTA 3, VC, possibly SA
    Metal Gear Solid Series
    Bloodrayne
    Army Men 2 Sarge's Heroes
    Disaster Report
    Freedom Fighters
    Killzone
    Mafia
    Manhunt
    Shellshock Nam '67
    Socom
    The Godfather
    The Suffering 1 & 2

Any games I missed and should maybe try to hit? Any of these you guys played and loved? Any you didn't but are curious about?

You're in for a rude awakening with some of these. I tried a similar thing, couldn't believe how bad it used to look.

Haha I feared that, but some I still can't wait to play again. Which ones come to mind when you say that?

Pretty much all of them. I remember I bought FF IX from the PSN store and was stunned at how bad it looked.

    I
I just looked up Underground on youtube and it looked solid. Not great, but solid.

I always enjoyed the Gran Turismo games. Forget what the last one on PS2 was, but it was solid.

At the end of this thread do we find out that you just took a lot of acid and that none of this trip was actually real?

Been playing the shit out of Need for Speed Underground- graphics really aren't bad and it is every bit as fun as I remember it being.
