Coach Rush finally returns after a long vacation. His new team? The KC Chiefs. This team is young and hungry. There is only one player on this team that is over the age of 30 (not including the punter). With young talent, a great draft pick, and a interesting splash in FA, this team is ready to make a Super Bowl run. A run KC has not made since Super Bowl IV in 1970! Can Rush have the same success he had with the Dallas Cowboys? We shall see.

    Key Losses
CB Terrence Newman - The trade was made to acquire Newman last year for a 4th round pick. But after KC went CB in the first round, Newman dropped down to 4th on the depth chart. Would of been nice to keep him there, but he was making a shit ton of money. Had to go sorry TNew.

QB Matt Cassel - Good QB, but his release was too slow. KC was able to find a better and younger QB to replace Cassel, so no big loss.

    Key Resignings
RE Glenn Dorsey - Biggest priority in the off-season. Dorsey is a key piece to the 4-3 defense for the Chiefs.

LT Branden Albert - Best OL for the Chiefs for many years. The running game starts with him.

    Key Additions
CB Cornel Patrick - Taken 3rd overall in the draft. This kid has exceptional coverage skills and should help strengthen an already strong CB core.

QB Mark Sanchez - Mark was brought in as a FA to replace Cassel. This was a big move for the Chiefs. Mark, who was the 5th overall pick in the 1st round in 2009 by the Jets, is exactly what KC was looking for. He is 3 years younger than Cassel, and is a better QB across the board. Huge upgrade here.

RB Shonn Greene - This FA pickup probably shocked most people, as the Chiefs already had Charles. Shonn was also drafted by the Jets in the 2009 draft. Greene gives the Chiefs a different dimension to their running game that they did not have before with his size and running abilities.

TE Jake Ballard - A nice addition as the Chiefs needed a number 2 TE opposite Moeaki.

    Depth Chart
QB - Mark Sanchez: The Chiefs success is now riding on dirty sanchez. He has all the tools to win.
QB - Ricky Stanzi: Proved himself last season went Cassel went down. This kid can play if needed.

RB - Jamaal Charles: Is there a better overall HB in the league? Maybe a couple. Charles in the real deal and WILL be a forced to be reckoned with.
RB - Shonn Greene: At 226 pounds, Mr. Greene is going to run some bitches over. Is there a better one two punch in the league?
RB - Dexter McCluster: Didnt expect this guy to be 3rd string, but the Chiefs will find ways to get him involved.
FB - Le'Ron McClain: Outstanding fullback. One of the best in the game.

WR - Dwayne Bowe: An elite receiver in the league. this guy always finds ways to get open and will challenge any CB in the league.
WR - Jonathin Baldwin: Baldwin has developed into a very nice #2 WR. At 6'4, he can go get any ball.
WR - Steve Breaston: Good talent for a slot reciever.

LT - Branden Albert: Prince Albert will be Jamaal Charles best friend
LG - Ryan Lilja : Oldest player on the team, but still a solid LG
C - Rodney Houston: The young center will finally get his opportunity to start
RG - Jon Asamoah: This position will be up for grabs all season. Right now Jon is getting first crack.
RT - Jared Gaither: A solid tackle thats needs to play well to keep starting however

LE - Allen Bailey: Will be given the chance to start. Bailey is the future, but is he ready?
DT - Branden Fletcher: Former 1st round pick. A stud.
DT - Jerrell Powe: POWE POWE (Step Brothers quote)
RE - Glenn Dorsey: Doresy is getting older, but can still play

OLB - Justin Houston: Finally gets his shot to start
MLB - Derrick Johnson: Very good coverage LB
OLB - Tamba Hali: Still one of the best pure pass rushers in the game

CB - Brandon Flowers: Keeps his spot atop of the depth chart. Flowers is one of the leagues best
FS - Dillan Rantis: Nothing about this kid wows you, but he can play but he lacks certain abilites
SS - Eric Berry: At 24 Eric is a premiere safety in the leauge.
CB - Cornel Patrick: Picked 3rd overall in the first round, Patrick will be given the shot to start as a rookie
CB - Brandon Carr: Is there a better nickle corner in the game? With Carr, Patrick, and Flowers, the Chiefs should have one of the best CB cores in the league
