    Just as we planned it

The Kentucky Wildcats started off their season late in Week 2 with an easy match up against an FCS school. Coach Alemic was pretty positive he was going to pick up his first win of the year, and if he didnt already had a new house picked out in Canada where he could hide his face from shame.
This game went pretty much as expected the Wildcats came out and dominated early and and throughout the entire game. The defense only gave up one TD and pretty much held the offense in check the entire way through. The offense was able to move down field easily and the Wildcats picked up an easy win.
    Final Score:
    Kentucky 80 FCS West 7
    Key Stats:

    Morgan Newton 2-3 39 yards 1 TD
    Rushing
Donald Russell 42 attempts 579 yards 8 TD

The Kentucky Wildcats come into week 3 with a 1-0 record hoping to continue the winning this season against their bitter rival Louisville. The fans of Kentucky are high on their new head coach Alemic due to his new style of play relying on the rushing game. This week Russell would look to build off of his amazing 579 yard 8 TD performance in week 1 against FCS west. And he answered big time.
This one was never close with Kentucky jumping our early to a 35-0 lead before the Cardinals were able to put up a TD before halftime. The second half was much of the same with the Cardinals getting 1 TD on the board as well as Kentucky putting the game easily out of reach. Russell would put up huge numbers once again as the Wildcats look to build off this game and get ready for SEC play.
    Final Score:
    Kentucky 42 Louisville 14
    Key Stats:
    Passing
    Morgan Newton 8-18 191 yards 2 TD 1 INT
    Rushing
Donald Russell 19 attempts 301 yards 3 TD
Morgan Newton 4 attempts 48 yards 0 TD
