What a game to open the year, but not for these coaches as a loss will put them behind in the conference. Both of these teams were in the playoffs last year and are solid teams. The Broncos are led by QB Brenden Evans and Knowshown Moreno on offense while Nate Irving anchors the defense. The Raiders rely on all world HB Gary Frederick and Rolando McClain at MLB prowling sideline to sideline.
This should be a highly contested ball game but the division won't be decided just on this match up, that will be done in week 12.

Raiders made some moves this offseason to make there big run, everybody whose anybody is returning. We added a solid Wr in Dejoshua Smith, last year after d Moore went down with an injury we just didnt have the depth to have consistent passing game. Kevin Williams enters at DT to give the Raiders one of the best D lines in HK, if not the best, definitely the deepest. Starting the year off against are biggest rival and definitely are biggest threat in the Afc west it should be a great game

    HB Gary Frederick aka Frederico

In a divisional rivalry game to begin the year, Frederick goes over the century mark on 18 carries. Being down 7-0, Frederick took his attempt 48 yards to tie the score up and the Raiders would never look back. 18 carries 118 Yards TD, reception for 12 Yards.

This rookie said HELLO to the NFL, in his first game he recorded a stat line of: 5 Tackles, 4.0 Sacks and 2 Forced Fumbles in a 27-24 victory against the New York Giants. I mean how in the world do you improve off of that line?

    congrats

Little late on week 2 game of the week, but this is the match up that would have been selected. The Giants newly acquired quarterback against a hated division rival in the Cowboys. Ryan Mallett leads the Cowboy offense with Dez Bryant to go make plays for him and Brandon Merriweather patrols the secondary for the 'Boys. Anthony Anderson has a ground game to work with along with two capable WRs to get the job done, on defense Prince is a lockdown corner that will contest Dez and Ngata controls the LOS. This one ought to be close.

    TRADE ALERT
    [IMG][IMG]
Dyjuan Dozier has been traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for two draft picks. With all the rumors and talks the Houston management team has said since taking over, Dozier shrugged all the talk off and led them to a Super Bowl Championship and in their second run he was injured and not able to participate the last 4-6 weeks of the season. Pittsburgh had to clear some cap space before they ended up making this deal as they dumped Heath Miller in favor of a big time quarterback, hoping to put them back into the elite of the NFL HK.
When asked about his time in Houston, Dozier replied, "it was a rocky but great relationship. I knew they were unhappy with my play the final games of the 2014 season and they were trying to deal me that offseason but nothing got done and the following season, I went out and just played the best I could and the coaches and management saw that. We won the Super Bowl but the heat was still on me, Knight told me that he wanted to have a better season (2016) and we were on pace to do that, I suffered the injury and Yates stepped in, filled the role and got us back2back championships. It was something fun to be apart of and even though Houston wanted to get rid of many several times, I enjoyed every part of being a Texan!"

Houston management released a statement, "We were happy to have selected Dyjuan and give him an opportunity here in Houston, the new management questioned him late in the year when they took over. He used that motivation and turned into a Super Bowl winning quarterback and then was putting up career numbers the following year, in which he unfortunately was injured. We wish him the very best and hope that he can turn Pittsburgh into the franchise they are."

Pittsburgh management was unavailable for comment. ( pitt4life21 )

Two coaches that took new jobs this year, HAL9100 moved from New England down to the dirty, dirty Atlanta Falcons while controllerabuser decided to get out of Minnesota and head to the northwest and coach the Seattle Seahawks. CeJay Kennedy leads to Falcons offense while Mendenhall carries the rock, while Julio Jones and Randall Cobb aren't a bad 1-2 punch and Aaron Hernandez is their TE. Defense is led by DT Cory Peters and he can get to the QB. Mikel LeShore leads the Seahawks as AC Jackson is struggling to hit his own receivers right now, but when he does it is usually his big TE in Brody Patterson. MLB Jaxon Houston leads the team in tackles and has a sack and interception. I believe the Hawks are a bruising, run first team now with LeShore so it will all depend on that.
    Seahawks 24 Falcons 20

Missed opportunity to talk about the #1 offense facing off against the #1 defense. Something's gotta give.

A pretty enticing matchup and the only one with two teams with winning records (user-user). The Chargers will face Dyjuan Dozier twice in three weeks but this time he is fresh off his trade from Houston to Pittsburgh. Pitt's defense has a lot of recognizable names but these names are in their years in HK Football League. Can they still play that Steeler defense? San Diego is on their way up, building there defense around Armani Owens and rookie DT Stan Jurado, who has five sacks through three games. Chargers were able to snag HB Chris Johnson and add him to the offense but they still have a lot of question marks and struggle often at times. This one should be close!

Is this a Super Bowl preview? Carolina staggering into this game with a 4-3 record, but we all know what they are capable of doing while the Raiders are the last AFC team to remain unbeaten at 7-0. Black and Silver QB Jones is making better decisions so far this year and when you have a back like Frederico, I mean Gary Frederick, that always helps out. The Raiders are giving up a ton of yards and that is a scary sight when you have Cam Newton and Company coming into town. This will be a barn burner as the AFC unbeaten falls... 45-28
    [IMG][IMG]
The Atlanta Falcons come into this game as the #1 PPG offensively and defensively at 35.0 and 10.2 along with the #1 Turnover margin at +14! While the Chargers are coming off a loss to the Raiders and often struggle at keeping a hold on their possessions. Kennedy is off to a very hot start throwing for 8 TDs while only throwing 2 INTs and Mendenhall has 11 scores through 7 weeks of play. The Chargers must have a good game out of Boone to have a shot in this game, even though their defense can play on a great level at times. I'm not going with the consensus here and taking the upset in both games...
    Chargers 24 Falcons 21
