Schedules mainly. Ryno had a death and I wasn't going to play the CPU because that's not in his control, another guy had about a two hour availability, etc. hasn't been a fun season to say the least.
Recapping Week Twelve Both of our games this week were tightly contest ball games as the Colts pull out a 17-10 victory over the Cardinals and the Giants win by 7 also, 24-17. The difference in the Cardinals-Colts was Carson Palmer's two interceptions. The Giants defense came up huge as the Gmen turned the ball over twice but held Romo at bay along with DeMarco Murray. Week Thirteen 7-4 @ 10-1 The Dolphins have a lot to prove in this game as they come in with 4 losses compared to the Jets running rough shop over their schedule with a 10-1 record. Another battle of two talented users on the sticks and the question again is who blinks first and turns the ball over? I will go with a slight lean on the Jets since they are playing with all the momentum right now but I can also see the pendulum swing back into evening up the breaks and bounces going against them.
Nice content Noles, but show the NFCS some love. Next week might determine the division. Panthers beat those 'fins.
The Week 15 Game of the Week lived up to expectations as the Chargers and Broncos didn't settle things until overtime. The Broncos held serve to finish 8-0 at home on the season, but more importantly, have the inside track to the Division crown.
Noles really dropped the ball on this one. This is the Game of the Week. Lions and Giants are both still in it even if they lose. Bills and Dolpins as well. The real game here is Minny vs Cincy. If Dan wins he sets up a Week 17 division title matchup. Noles can win or lose and still has a shot at the NFC North, IF the Lions lose to NYG.
Yea, two teams vying for the #1 seed in the NFC. Two teams looking for a WC in the NFC and then two teams looking for the AFC WC if not both of them. I mean Minny and Cincy is a good match up but the Bengals are sub .500...? Yea if they win then they can potentially win their division. The worst word in @H's vocabulary "if"
vying my ass. He would have to lose out and I win out, and we know Peench will not lose 2 in a row, I have about 3% chance of winning.
I will say this about the Cowboys, we have two games of the week (16 & 17! Week 16 @Redskins MoonBBad Week 17 vs Eagles Sgt Jowers We have not won a divisional game yet and if we cannot win these next two we may not make the playoffs.
Welcome Back to Football Folks! Week One Well we have some mighty fine match-ups and rematches to begin TMFL year two. Boom29 will travel the New York to face OMlawdog and reigning MVP Geno Smith, will this be Super Bowl hangover for the loser? The Chargers do boost a very good defense, how will that translate in year two? Gyrene76 taking over the Dolphins will face another year one coach in Papa Perry , a lot has been made of Josh on the sticks but I have a feeling Perry and his defensive struggles might surprise some people, oh and having one of the better QBs in the league doesn't hurt either. I Peench will travel to the D to take on Hova and the Lions in a rematch where Detroit fended off the Gmen, does Eli slay the Lion or have his number? Vikings will take on PAgamer07 in another rematch where Minnesota won going away last time, if there is a defense to slow AP it would be Seattle and that pass defense. BRUCE80 arguably coming off one of the better offseasons will take on division foe and defending super bowl champion biggcoug65 , what can the Rams do to stop Kap and the Niner rushing attack?
Week Two Peyton Manning makes another trip back to Indianapolis, what will the city have in store for him this time. Masler coming off another win looks to keep it going against the defending AFC South Champion nellycuz . A surprise 1-0 Falcons, Cole Copeland , team takes on the Buccaneers, Bucs , who are 1-0 themselves, as the NFC South looks to redeem themselves from last year and play more competitively against one another. And then we come to the NFC North, the Vikings KnightNoles and Lions Hova will square off again which will have rivalry hate all over the place until kickoff. Philstyle3005 and the Bills are no surprise being 1-0 but the Patriots behind Papa Perry overcame the mystique of the Dolphins and setup an intriguing game. Surprise, Surprise at the Jaguars and Titans both being 1-0 and squaring off for an early division lead, bawvu97 and broth262 will duke this one out and the Jags offense better come to play. There what? The Jets OMlawdog and Cowboys sawemoff are 0-1, which one will fall into the 0-2 hole while the other gains some momentum at .500. Well, the Giants, I Peench are 0-1 and having a hard time balancing time and interest in their season already and coming to the Bay is no small task in playing the defending champion biggcoug65 , this game is simply on here because of the caliber of these two coaches.
Week Three Week three games included Cole Copeland of the Falcons against nellycuz and the Indianapolis Colts, in a rare game that features both teams being 2-0. Can Cole keep the dirty birds flying high or will Luck push for 3-0 and continue to build an AFC South lead. biggcoug65 and the defending Super Bowl Champions take on the Eagles and Sgt Jowers , how will Pryor handle the Niners defense?
Week Four Another week and nellycuz and the Colts are featured, this time against AFC South divisional foe in the Texans under Kasper . Does Indy have enough in the back end of their defense to slow down the WR corp of the Texans and does Houston have enough to limit Luck. Colts win and they separate themselves in the South. fuzzyl0gic and the Panthers visit Cole Copeland and the Falcons being featured again this week. An NFC South battle between the defending crown, Panthers, against the one who talked a big talk last year to win the division, but this year the Falcons are in what seems to be a better state. An early important matchup for the Falcons.
My SRS system is a better predictive system than retroactive. It'd be awesome for you to add the projected team to win based on those. SRS predicts: A win for Carolina, and a win for Indy. The more games we play, the more accurate it gets.
