KSU beats Baylor 34-24 The Wildcats got bye a Robert Griffin-less Baylor Bears tonight. Both teams played hard all the way to the end. Being down a couple of playmakers the Baylor offense was centered around the running game. The Bears were able to avg 6.3yds/carry on the ground for the day. The passing game was mainly short routes but were timed well. Florence went 8-12 for 92yds and 2 TDs. The Bears also found some help in the return game taking a kickoff back for 6 in the 2nd half. The KSU offense was clicking with QB Collin Klein going 14-20 for 291 and 3 TDs. TE Travis Tannahill made the play of the game with 7min left in the game he caught the ball on a crossing route broke a tackle and went 67yds for a TD that put the Wildcats up 10. Tannahill had a big 3rd conversion earlier in the game as well. He finished with 3 catches for 114yds and a TD. WR Tremaine Thomas was Klein's favorite target, catching 5 balls for 80yds and 2TDs. Cole Bachamp caught 3 balls for 69yds. Darious Thomas carried the ball 22 times for 101yds and a TD. Great game vs Baylor. If his players would stop getting hurt he'd be tearing it up.
