Hell yeah. I was just going cause I loved their music. They were fucking amazing live. Definitely in my top 5. Had some cheap seats on the lawn but was rocking out the whole time!
Haven't seen too many shows myself went to the first Crue Fest. Got to see A7X a few months before The Rev died. And saw P.O.D. this past summer.
Would love to of seen A7X before he passed. I am a concert junkie. I have been to everything to 5FDP, to Foo Fighters, to more pop rock stuff such as Shinedown and Skillet! I am looking forward to Pearl Jam show next Wednesday!! My favorite show would of been Foo Fighters last year at a venue that held like 1500 people or so! The year before they played a huge arena that held like 20,000.. So definitely a once in a lifetime show! Dave Grohl is the fucking man!!
I live about 3 hrs north of Charlotte and I've missed out on a bunch of good shows because it seems like all the ones I wanna see happen in the middle of the week.
Does seem a lot of good shows happen during the week and a three hour drive is definitely not worth it. I am probably 30 mins away from the area so it is not terrible but not preferable! Hopefully a good Saturday concert in the area will come around sometime soon for you to enjoy!
As music sales have dwindled over the years, artists have increasingly turned to making special editions of their albums to entice hardcore fans to spend more hard-earned cash — but there's never been an album quite like what Wu-Tang Clan is cooking up. In addition to releasing a 20th anniversary album this summer called A Better Tomorrow, the hip-hop collective also recorded a double album in secret over the last two years — and is only releasing one single copy of it. http://www.theverge.com/2014/3/26/5...ll-only-sell-a-single-copy-of-their-new-album
