    LA TECH PRESEASON OUTLOOK

    Season Outlook

Last year it was a question, this year it is a reality. Louisiana Tech is a program on the rise.

New coach Darren Douglas led the Bulldogs to a 10-3 season when no experts had them pegged for more that 7 wins at the most.

Douglas used a quick fire offense and a solid D to lead Tech to it's largest win total since 1988.

With success come a new set of lofty expectations to live up to, not that Douglas or the Bulldogs are flinching at the thought.

"We worked my really hard to get to this point," the 30-year-old Douglas said. We don't buy into everyone else's expectations because we put high expectations on ourselves.

Tech Kept all of it's coordinators from last year and they should be even more explosive on both sides of the ball with 17 starters returning.

The Standouts are QB Colby Cameron, Tyrone Duplessis, and All American WR Admad Paige.

"I'm hoping we can duplicate our success from last year, and I'm gonna continue to let my staff stay on these guys to improve and get better. Were trying to be like Boise or Nevada year in and out"

If these sliders are as tough as I think they are, our re-match is going to be much different than the 90+ points we combined for last time :D

    Good luck this year!
