Same deal I had with Dru. I don't remember the particulars but the big pieces were Gasol for Love. I'll get the details in here tonight. Saved me about 6million in cap space as well.

    Edit: found the original trade

Minnesota trades PF/C Kevin Love (81OVR, 1 yr at $4.8 mill), PG Luke Ridnour (68 OVR, 3 yrs at $3.8 mill) and C Darko Milicic (61 OVR, 3 yrs at $5.1 mill) to the Los Angeles Lakers for PF/C Pau Gasol (86 OVR, 3 yrs at $18.75 mill), PF Darrick Character (60 OVR, 1 yr at $800k) and SG Trey Jones (57 OVR, 1 yr at $1.01 mill).

I'd be willing to swap Gasol with Bynum if you guys think the Twolves need some younger talent.

I don't think the CPU is bitting on this...Im gonna have to deal Bynum to get love. Let me come up with something similar involving Bynum and see if it flies with you guys.

Twolves dont want Gasol so im gonna try this:

Minnesota trades PF/C Kevin Love (81OVR, 1 yr at $4.8 mill) and PG Luke Ridnour (68 OVR, 3 yrs at $3.8 mill) to the Los Angeles Lakers for C Andrew Bynum (80 OVR, 3 yrs at $15.6 mill) and SG Trey Jones (57 OVR, 1 yr at $1.01 mill).

Im getting rid of my only true Center but Gasol can pick up the slack and I can start Odom just make our front line a little bigger.

Im not 100% sure that Bynums contract is correct, going off memory from late last night

I don't know if that will go through because the Wolves are taking on a lot more salary than the Lakers.

I approve it but Bond may be right, you may need to add another player or two to the mix to get the salaries to work, I dont recall what the twolves cap situation is.

It failed on the trade machine because it put the Wolves over the cap.

Then you should be fine. The trade finder doesn't usually give you trade options that won't work for both teams under the cap.

I really think you can't use the ESPN trade machine (I'm assuming that's what you put it in) since I think there are players in the game that have 1 year deals that aren't necessarily accurate in real life, because they are free agents and the lockout prevented player movement. For example, Shannon Brown is no longer under contract with the Lakers, but he's on their roster in the game on a 1 year deal.

It also showed Bynum having a 2 year deal which was weird.

Yeah, I think the trade machine would only work if you were trying to match up a deal for two teams over the cap and all players involved were on long term deals already.

There are way too many guys around the league, in 2k at least, that are on 1 year deals because of the lockout, and it makes the real life and 2k team cap situations wildly different in some cases.

Once we get past the 1st season it will be better, we won't have so many expiring contracts.
