During Wildcard Weekend, the underdog Titans came to Denver with something to prove...and they just about snuck away with the upset victory. In the defensive battle, both teams traded jabs through all four quarters. Great defensive football with no turnovers on either side - needless to say, it was a punt fest, with Tennessee winning the field position battle for most of the game. Both teams played a super conservative offensive football game. In the playoffs, turnovers swing momentum and these young quarterbacks did a hell of a job protecting the football. Tennessee's lone TD came on a nice Chris Johnson counter run. Denver countered that score with a short field goal and tied it up on a long, vertical TD to star wideout Bay-Bay Thomas. Field goals were traded again making it 13-13 in the fourth. Tied at 13 late in the fourth, the Broncos got the ball back after Tennessee hit a game-tying FG. With about 40 seconds left on the clock, Osweiler rallied his troops and showed the world how clutch he is. Big Os hit rookie wideout Sedrick Peterson over the middle for a huge gain on a 3rd down. On the very next play, rookie RB Darrian Reagan caught a checkdown pass out of the backfield and followed his blockers all the way to the house... 20-13 DENVER Tennessee got the ball back with 16 seconds left and failed in their attempt to equalize with a hail mary. Still a great effort from the AFC South sleeper squad. GG hoodiii - good luck this offseason.
