We're are officially launching today as planned. I know like myself everyone is pumped. Let's do this! :)

I was not able to edit and update the rules yet, but Drifterbub is in the process of giving me the power to do so. Bear with the unorganized rules until then. Just read the stickies and be smart.

    *IMPORANT THINGS TO KNOW*
    - Remember the number of commits you can take = Roster space + Seniors
    - Everyone needs to reply to this thread with their O-playbook, Defense, # of scholarships available, & hurry up (yes/no), & gamertag
-Everyone needs to create a coach
-No CPB, just creates more policing for me to do. You have 120+ choices, pick one of those
    - I will be leaving the schedules mostly as is for season one, but will replace all FCS games with awful FBS teams
    - Read and know the rules, make sure you are realistic and play football the resembles Saturdays
    - Everyone's job is to make sure their opponent is having a great gaming experience (if all do this, everyone ENJOYS this)

I don't believe in requiring content like I've done in the past. The enjoyment and quality of the league is always determined by what the members organically want to contribute. With that said, there is a BASIC contribution that is expected of any league.

    Contribution Expectations
    - Setup user game-times ONLY in game scheduling sub-forum
    - Post a score and at least a sentence or two for all games (not user losses)
    - Reply to recruiting thread with commitment updates for you team

The above is the bare minimum and not a lot by any means. If there are scheduling problems I will look at the game-scheduling sub-forum in order to make the call on a sim or who goes on auto. You protect yourself from that most of the time if you post your availability and inquire a game-time from your opponent AS SOON as we advance. Game scores and commitment updates are the bare bones of what you should be letting the league know about your team on a consistent basis.

We are all here to HAVE FUN with this experience. It's really not that hard if you put in the small amount of work (10 minutes every two days) to post your scores and recruits. There's a 50 minute NCAA game as well you have to play. That's an hour commitment for NCAA every 48 hours. If you aren't doing these basic things I will just toss you (including replying to this thread as confirmation as being a part of the league by tomorrow at 2 PM EST). We have at least 5 TSO members chomping at the bit to get into the league so don't waste your opportunity and just do your small part!

Obviously that includes playing sim ball and making sure you opponent has a great experience playing you. If everyone does these few basic things we will really enjoy the league and it will grow by itself and last a very long time.

If you have any questions ALWAYS ask. I'm very flexible and understanding as long as you are reasonable and communicate problems & concerns in a timely manner. Pep talk over, now time for FUN! Hopping on now to create the OD and send invites.

I've updated the OP for CPB. They're NOT allowed. Thank you for posting this.

Whatever one that has Oregon State as a 6* team with all 99's is good with me.

I'm rather excited to start this dynasty up. In The E I'm Michigan so I've sorta caked walked my way through things. It will be interesting for me to come at this from a different perspective. Needless to say, my expectations arent high.

Seems like we're in the same boat but swapping to opposite ends of the spectrum. I LOVE building teams and don't believe I've ever had a team higher than a 3 star in an OD to start out. Oregon is quite the opposite, but my lack of being good at the spread should be the great equalizer for all to stomp the Ducks back into mediocrity.

On a serious note we will need to discuss and draw some type of line in the sand for stuff like RO.

My personal feelings on it (as I used to run a RO Pistol offense in a different OD), is that I never ran it more then once a drive and I never ran it in the redzone or on 3rd down. Thats just me though and what I did to limit myself personally on it. Thats not to say I ran it EVERY drive, but if I did run it in a drive I didnt run it again.

If no huddle is going to be allowed are we also going to be able to dictwte tempo by draining clock? Not talking about 1 second every time but somewhere in 4-10 second range for traditional style offenses if they choose

I'm heading back to work until 7 PM EST. I'll send the next wave of invites out soon after that in case you struggled searching for the OD on the console.

A good way to do it is to have a ratio. Works great and is realistic. 2:1 running back to QB carry ratio works perfectly. ie: QB carries: 10 all others: 20
Makes it balanced and realistic. That way we're not completely taking away a huge part of the spread option, but we are balancing it out.
