Fortunately, my recruits don't seem to be noticing that I'm not doing well in Big 10 play.

We are allowed to have 3 more offers than we have spots available correct?

I'm pretty sure you do. Whatever number gives you an even seventy I think you get.

Yeah, we're gonna do our best to get to 70 each year. We're gonna use the formula of "seniors leaving + (70 - number of players roster) + 1"

For Example: Team X has 13 seniors leaving and a 68 man roster
    13 + (70-68) + 1 = 16
Team X has 16 scholarships available.

So we get an allowance of 1 and not 3. Glad I asked since I thought we got 3.

The +3 rule doesn't get you up to 70 players sometimes. With this, you can have as many as 6 or 7 additional scholarships available. Say you came into the season with only a 63 man roster and had 12 seniors leaving. Thats a total of 20 scholarships available compared to just the 15 that would be available in the "Seniors leaving +3" format.

Am i making sense here? I'm kinda rambling lol

No I understand what you're saying. Basically, we are allowed to recruit to 71 guys total. I just thought that we could get to 73 guys total.

Oh no, the +3 rule was always based solely on seniors leaving. This rule has other factors involved that allow the users to accurately hit 70 without having to make any cuts.

    1. What are your expectations for this season?

The Buffaloes are down but I am still looking to win a Big 12 North title. But a Big-12 title would be a huge huge victory for the program.

    2. Who is your favorite player on your team?

Rodney Stewart my running back. He is a leader on the team. He really pulls the offense's weight and helps the passing game.

    3. What freshman should we look out for this year on your team?

I really don't have any outstanding freshman at this point. Hopefully, that changes with some recruits coming in.

    4. Who is your biggest rival right now?

This is a tough one. As of right now I am guessing Baylor. This is a tough one because I've only played him once, but there will be a lot of matchups in the future and a rivalry may ensue.
