    League Description

I'm going to be updating the league description, so I need to make the changes you guys need. Have a look at the list of coaches, and let me know what to change.

If you changed teams, let me know if the defensive and offensive playbooks are correct.

If you're new, let me know what to put in these spots for you.

Hey Archie you can put me down as an Air Raid offense using the Texas Tech play book. For defense I will be running the 3-4.

Put mine in another thread but I'll repost here.

    Team: LSU
    Offense: Syracuse
Type: Pro Style (though I prefer West Coast)
    Defense: 4-3

Arch, which O play book and style were you rocking with OSU? I'll switch to 4-3 D though.

I ran with the Pitt book, and the Boise book. I switched after a season.

OK, I updated the roster again. We now have 12 teams and coaches represented. Everyone have a look and make sure your info is correct. If you're using a different playbook, I'll need to know that, because guys need to be able to gameplan, and if you end up using a different book in a user game, you'll be in danger of taking a sim.

    Thanks guys.

Recruiting question. I know there is a limit on how many 5 star recruits you can sign (limit of 3) but is there also a limit on how many 4 star or ESPN150 you can sign?

I think we did away with the 4* restrictions.

Goose is right. Sign away. Just don't take more than three five star guys, and keep your roster at or under 75 before cuts.

Can the old folks switch play books as well? If so, I would like to switch to the Texas Tech Air Raid book. I'll stick with the 3-4 on D.

Love the Texas Tech book. However, I wish it had more stuff you could run out of like the BYU book.

I tend not to run much and have been playing with the TT book and love the huge variety of shotgun formations.

Ill get an update posted tomorrow. Overall, its not going too well. I an running 2nd on all of the guys I had targeted. I did get a 4* commit today, but it was a WR and really need DBs as my two starting CBs and my SS are seniors.

Do you think on the field performance impacts recruiting? It seems as I have lost more games that my results have suffered. Maybe I'm just looking for an excuse. ;)

It's a really weak class as far as DBs go. I got the number 8 guy, and he was all the way down at #303, and he's a three star. Only seven DBs in the top 300? That's weak.

On field performance only matters if you have the recruit in for visit. Other then that is just depends on how many points you garner during that week and how well the CPU decides it is going to do.

AG, if it's cool, I'm going to take this opportunity for change to move to the Clemson playbook. Technically they're a spread offense, but they incorporate the TE and FB in a multitude of formations. The Wildcat is also included, and while lamely uncreative, it would present an opportunity to get my athletic freshman QB a snap or two per game.

Most importantly, I think I'll have more success running the football with this offense. I always think it's cool when you can somehow manage to be successful with your program's assigned playbook. I'm just a geek like that.

No problem at all. You still running a 4-2-5?
