    USC (45) vs. Arizona (7)

The defense pitched a shutout, the offense game up the TD.

Barkley left this game midway through the 2nd quarter with bruised ribs. But by that time USC was up 24-0 and on there way to there 8th straight win.

DJ Morgan continued his Heisman Trophy campaign with a 195 yard, 3 TD effort. Morgan sits just 56 yards away from 2000 on the season with games against ND and UCLA remaining. He is 4 TD's short of breaking Marc Tyler's single season record of 27, and 483 yards short of breaking the school record for yards in a season. With 4 games remaining (2 regular season, conference championship and bowl game), the outside shot remains that Morgan could break Barry Sanders record for yards in a season. All he would need to do is average 171 yards per game. The TD record appears safe, as Morgan would need 14 TD's over the final 4 games to break that record.

The future for USC appears to be in the hands of Freshman Max Wittek, who came in during the 4th quarter to get some action and was the more accurate QB of the two.

Next week, USC faces there final test of the regular season when they face off against the defending national champions, The Notre Dame Fighting Irish in LA.

We need a Maryland loss. If that happens then we have a defacto semifinal in the SEC and the Pac-12 for the National Title game.

They are soft the rest of the way. Only hope is the ACC Title game. I haven't looked at who they will play but that may be our only hope at this point.

The Buckeyes defense was all over the field in snowy Happy Valley. The Penn St offense was kept in check to the tune of 145 total yards. The Silver Bullets forced 3 turnovers, all via interception. The Buckeye offense was able to overcome injuries to the top 2 RBs Hall and Berry in the first half to finish the day with 114 rushing yards. Braxton Miller threw for 2 TD and 164 yards.

    Georgia 31
    Auburn 3

Consistency has not been a big part of Georgia's season. One week the passing game is rolling but run game is struggling, while the next game the run game more than doubles passing numbers. The latter was the case in the match against Auburn. HB Crowell had a huge game on the ground with 189 yards and 3 TD. This includes a 75 yard rushing TD. Meanwhile QB Murray put up a pedestrian 110 yards His offensive line did him no favors. he was sacked 4 times on approximately 20 drop back attempts. He was hurried on nearly every pass attempt in the game and the receivers didn't help matters. They struggled to get separation against Auburn's cornerbacks. As for the Georgia defense, they held Auburn to under 150 yards offense. The Bulldogs also won the turnover margin 2-0 in this game.

Georgia finishes out the season with two more rivalry battles. In week 13 Georgia will face South Carolina and in week 14 they take on Georgia Tech. The Bulldogs still have a shot at pulling out a BCS berth if the cards fall right, though a conference championship berth is no longer a possibility.

    South Carolina 13
    Florida 7

For the 2nd year in a row the Gamecocks have bested Florida. Patrick Wilson who played great last week against Vandy, looked like a freshman this week tossing 3 INTs including two in the redzzone. The last of which game as we were driving for a game winning TD. This places us in a tie atop the SEC east with Georgia. Our last SEC game will be the Kentucky Wildcats. Damn that Spurrier.
