Good to see I got the kicker but I really wanted this JUCO QB. He likely signs elsewhere this week since he has a visit with the competing team in week 13.

    Thanks for posting Killernuts.

Barner was the workhorse with 202yds 3 TD on 33 carries. Thomas threw for 221tds 1 TD and added 48yds on the ground. Isaiah taylor returned a fumble 53yds to start the comeback.

The Seminoles went Gator hunting in the Swamp looking to avenge last years loss. And befitting a game in the swamp, it was raining. The Gators had a young QB, but they also had Power HB Greg Leslie. Leslie would be a beast. But the Seminole D decided to concentrate the offense on Leslie and take their chances with QB Terrance Hall. This strategy worked as Hall was erratic all day, completing only 7/19 for 101 yards and an INT. Leslie would gain over 100 yards on the day, but it would not be enough. FSU QB EJ Manuel and another good day managing the offense. HB Brendan Marks went down for the game midway through the 3rd quarter, but Senior HB Chris Thompson filled in with a pair of rushing TD. This gives us a 12-0 record heading into the ACC Championship game. I think we will play Miami, but there is a 3 way tie with Virginia Tech, Miami, and Georgia Tech. I am unsure how EA will handle the 3way tie.

    Key Stats:
    QB EJ Manuel 13/19 241 yards 1TD
HB Chris Thompson 67 rushing yards 2TD
WR Eric Carter 81 recieving yards
TE Alex Wilson 45 recieving yards 1TD
    K Dustin Hopkins 3-3 FG 4-4XP

    Penn State 28
    Michigan State 23

Michigan State nearly handed the Rose Bowl berth and Big 10 crown to in state rival Michigan. The Spartans battled Penn State and gave the Nittany Lions all they could handle. Turnovers put Penn State in an early hole as Newsome threw a couple picks and Penn State lost a fumble. Michigan State had a 20-7 lead before Newsome took over the game. The senior QB was not prepared to lose his last Big 10 game. He rushed for a short score to cut the lead to 6. Later in that quarter he passed to Justin Brown for a TD, giving Penn State its first lead of the game at 21-20. Michigan State didn't let the lead hold as they kicked a short field goal to take a 2 point lead. Newsome once again stepped up and found Kersey on a diving pass for a TD. This gave Penn State a 28-23 lead and that would be the final score. The defense made the stop on Michigan State and the run game was able to kill the clock. The win leaves the team's fate in the hands of the rival Ohio State Buckeyes. Penn State needs an OSU win to secure the Big 10 championship.

Offensive Player of the Game: Justin Brown and Shawney Kersey - combined 11 receptions for 266 yards and 2 TD

Defensive Player of the Game: Brian Nichols - 9 tackles

Miami has the tiebreakers... then again... there's a good chance EA didn't put in the correct tiebreakers!

Miami should go, but if it's by BCS it could get interesting.

    Miami 14

    Georgia 31

Miami was able to get on the board early in this one when they took a fumbled punt return for a TD. From that point it would be all Georgia. Halftime score was 14-17. Georgia controlled the second half, forcing two turnovers that killed likely Miami scores. Miamis defense could not make plays today as countless picks were dropped and too many 1st downs were given up. GG bsta, glad we were able to connect finally.

Miami drops to 8-3 and still looks to be in the ACC Champ

Good game masler. I'm happy my microphone was not on when you took that fumbled punt in for a TD.

    Alabama - 34
    Oklahoma - 24

Alabama closes the regular season with a victory. Trent Richardson was the star of the game. He ran for 181 yards on 30 carries with 2 TDs. He should be getting close to the career rushing touchdown record. Damon McKenzie led the receivers with 6 catches for 61 yards and 2 TDs. Tana Patrick again led the defense with 9 tackles (1 TFL) and 1 sack. Cedric added to his team leading sack total with one on the last play of the game. Brandon Ivory, Nathan Givens and Darrington Sentimore also recorded a sack on the afternoon.

Alabama will now have 2 bye weeks before facing Georgia in the SEC Championship,

The Game lived up to its history as a hard hitting slugfest. But unlike recent history, the Wolverines came out of the contest as the Victors, winning 14 - 13. Much like most of its games this season, the Wolverines relied upon solid defense and a few big plays to come out victorious as OSU QB Ken Guiton was forced into four interceptions, tow of which happened in the red zone. Michigan CB JT Floyd picked of Guiton twice. The play of the game came on Devin Gardner's 80 yard option keeper in the second quarter. With the Big Ten schedule over Michigan and Penn State will finish tied atop the conference standings, so it will be interesting to see who wins the tiebreaker and represents the Big Ten in the Rose Bowl.
