We are now in week 12. I know it is the holiday but after that we need to step this shit up. No more missing games without excuses, write recaps EVERY WEEK, and post your recruits. You also need to be responding to user game threads within 24 hours or you are going on auto. This is a premier league so treat it like one. If you don't want to do any of this then leave now, the new guys should not be more active then the vets. Alright, lets roll.

This game was expected to be a chess match between 2 coaches familiar with each others' style. It did not disappoint. Points and yards were at a premium in this matchup. ASU Jr QB Mike Bercovici threw for 199 yards and 2 TD and RS Fr HB DJ Foster ran for 98 yards in the game. The Sun Devil front 6 was able to stop the Colorado rushing attack and put the Buffaloes in some 3rd and long situations. The turnover battle was even, with both teams surrendering an INT. Thank you. I get to enjoy the talent for 2 more games before I lose 9 defensive starters and drop into obscurity.

Maryland went on the road this week looking to continue on what has been a very successful season. They would start out very slow on the road falling down 17 quick. It looked like FSU was going to pull the upset before the old Terps finally returned. Today they would be led by QB Brown who had a great day throwing 4 TDs and only 1 INT. HB Pickett would do his thing on the ground going for over 100 yards again and 2 scores. Pickett has now rushed for over 1350 yards and is on the Heisman Watch. The defense finally clamped down and also had a big INT to change momentum. Maryland would cruise to victory late remaining undefeated in ACC play. They look to finish the season strong next week at Boston College and clinch a birth into the ACC Title Game.

    Nice run by HB Pickett:

Iowa drops a heartbreaker at home due to the inability to stop Michigan's scrambling QB. The offense didn't help matters any with key turnovers at midfield twice that led to Michigan Scores. Iowa is once again slumping at the end of the year, a one-time lock for 10 wins is now just trying to survive.

Huge win, after a scoreless first GT took over, holding Clemson to only 108 yards of total offense and putting immense pressure on Clemson QB Tahj Boyd.

Cavaliers survive a 3 overtime scare at home to the Hurricanes. This game had ACC title game implications and it lived up to every second of the hype. Going into overtime the Hurricanes had all of the momentum and decided to play defense first in the first overtime. We were able to punch in a touchdown after a well balanced drive. Miami answered back in 3 plays to tie it up and send us to a 2nd OT. Tough Cavalier defense forced a long FG which was missed and we had a clear opportunity to line up a FG of our own. We ran three HB ISO's which was going to set up an easy game winning FG but on 3rd down he fumbled and sent us to a 3rd OT. We scored a TD to start the 3rd OT and capitalized on the 2pt conversion to put us up by 8. Miami answers right back again with a TD of their own but a great defensive stop in open space on a HB pitch secured us with the victory. One down one to go for a chance to play in the ACC Title Game. In-state rival, Virginia Tech is coming to town for what should be another great game.
