Well the coaches had a change of heart and decided not to use mobile underclass QB's and a more option approach to the run-n-shoot this week.
MSU has one of the best passing offenses in the country when its working...tonight it was working! Good call by the coaches to just keep it going until the end of the season -then they can make changes if needed, including possibly changing the playbook, which they weren't going to do at this point in the season. Smart!

Maxwell lit up the Wolverines for 366, 4TDs, and 1 INT.
[Even the young QB's got in for a few plays!]

Every week it seems like its a different WR getting open and this week was the same with Fowler grabbing a bunch and playing great.
Lippett who has been kicking butt all season also had a bag full of catches.

The big story really was the defense. 6 sacks [2 user] and 2 INTs snuffed out any shot the Wolverines had in this game. Senior CB Dennard also added a FF to the mix although the Spartans did not recover it.

Way to go boys - let's run the table!!!

The annual matchup between the Terps and the Cavs was a close game as usual with both teams playing sloppy throughout. UVA would pull out with the early lead with 2 huge plays, one long run and a long pass for TDs. The mellow Terp offense would then be sparked by a 98 yard kick return for a TD by WR Steffon Diggs. UVA would score again before the half and then Maryland struck on a long lucky TD pass to Diggs who caught the ball off a tip for a TD. Offense would slow down in the 2nd half with turnovers and bad plays being rampant. The game would come down to a late UVA drive with 30 seconds left. They moved the ball to about midfield before throwing one final hailmary that was batted down. QB Wilson threw for alot of yards but had a terrible game with 3 INTs. WR Diggs was the only highlight off the offense with 163 yards and a TD, plus the kick return TD. Maryland is now 5-2 and face clemson next week. GG Will Atkinson

The computer injured half my secondary and then proceeded to throw for more than 400 yards. WSU scored the winning TD with 15 seconds left.

CU was able to keep the Trojans off of the scoreboard for the last 10:00 of the game after being gashed during most of the first three quarters. This allowed the Buffaloes to score 21 points in that span with the go-ahead score coming with 1:13 left to play on a 64 yard TD pass from QB Nick Hirschman to WR Tyler McCullough. The CU defense then got its first turnover of the game to seal it after the Trojans looked like they were going to set themselves up for a FG attempt.

Colorado did lose star HB Tony Jones in the first quarter and it looks like he will miss 5 weeks or so. This is a giant blow to our offense as there are only 5 games left and 3 of those are user/user games :(.

Rude awaking for new northwestern coach

Opening my career, on the road at camp randle vs #15 Wisconsin was bad enough. Doing it while forgetting to change the play books was brutal. My default playbooks are a run heavy offense and the 4-3. Totally didn't have the personnel for them. Took a 24-20 lead but Wisconsin came back and score with about a minute to go to take a 27-24 lead. Not many shotgun forms and an interception later and coach salvia is 0-1
