    UCLA 17 Utah 0

UCLA scores 14 points in about ten seconds to grab the win. Midway through the 3rd quarter tied 0-0, UCLA WR Marvay hauled in a PA bomb for 6. The ensuing possessoin saw UCLA linebacker Olinyan return a pick to the house. After that it was all Bruins in cruise control. Neither team played well, as we combined for something like 7 turnovers-- just ugly. Hey, a wins a win.

UCLA also picked up about 5 committments.

Oregon and Washington had a pretty good defensive battle going before the game decided to freeze. The Ducks were up 13 - 3 going into the 4th quarter. The Huskies were about to punt and it froze. We decided to play 1 quarter to see who would win. Oregon was able to hold and the game should have ended 13 - 3.

I finished the game against the CPU and it ended up being 29 - 13. GG. BigKing. Hopefully our match-up next season will be just as good without the freeze.

    USC (46) vs. ND (41)

After two seasons of coming up short, USC finally comes up big when they needed to the most.

A pretty back and forth first quarter had USC leading 14-7 and 17-14. As the half was winding down, ND drove the field and completed a 31 yard TD to give ND a 21-17 half time lead.

USC received the ball first and came out with a long completion to put themselves inside the ND 20 right away but a fumble on the fullback dive was taken 84 yards for a TD and the game felt over for USC. After a missed FG, ND would drive and score with 6 minutes remaining to make it 35-17, a 3 score game.

USC came out no huddle and got a 10 yard pass to the TE Pomee to make it 35-24. A 3 and out by ND gave USC the ball with 4 minutes to go. On the next play a 69 yard pass to the other TE Telfer made it a 3 point game with 3:45 to go.

Another 3 and out by ND game USC a chance to complete the 18 point comeback. On the first play after the punt a 54 yard quick pass to Prater and a broken tackle gave USC the lead with a minute thirty to go.

ND came out, trying to drive for the win but an INT seemed to seal the deal. USC trying to run out the clock was able to run in Baxter on a 19 yard run to give USC a 10 point lead and a 29 point 4th quarter.

ND would not quit as they would return the kickoff for a TD to cut it to 5.

The onside kick was unsuccessful and 3 kneel downs it was over and USC snapped the two game losing streak to ND 46-41.

    Great game MoonBBad
