Done with recruiting and no game. Server is down at the moment so I probably won't end up getting on to hit ready before next advance... but I am.

    Cal - 0
    Oregon - 65

Cal really sucked for being ranked at #12. They could not do anything in this game. The Golden Bears were held to - 14 yards of total offense. They made 3 1st downs and were 0-12 on 3rd down.

My crappy QB finally had a good game. He went 16 for 22 for 294 yards and 3 TDs. Deanthony Thomas had another impressive game with 175 yards on 15 carries and 2 scores. He is making a late run at the Heisman Trophy. Curtis White led the receivers with 99 yards on 6 catches with 1 TD.

Oregon travels to Washington next week in a match-up that will determine the PAC 12 North Champion.

    Michigan Keeps Rollin

    #5 Michigan 31
    Northwestern 14

Michigan hosted the Cats in another winter wonder land at Michigan Stadium this week. The game was tight in the first half, but thanks to defense and a run first mentality Michigan was able to pull away in the 2nd half. HB Rawls and Holt both had 100 yard rushing days. QB Jones struggled in the weather throwing 3 INTS but did throw 2 TDs passes setup by the run. Here is the play of the game, HB Holt breaking a defenders ankle and taking it to the house:

Michigan now controls their own destiny. They play three top 3 teams the next 3 weeks, including #3 Nebraska at home next week, then two games vs hated Rival #1 Ohio State. If they can find a way to run the table, they should find themselves in a national title game.

    Georgia 24
    Auburn 10
It wasn't pretty but Georgia took care of business against #21 Auburn. The win guarantees Georgia will represent the East in the SEC Championship game. Georgia missed scoring opportunities thanks to mistakes in their opponent's territory but the Bulldogs' defense played well to keep the game close. Auburn struck first with a TD run and Georgia countered with a TD run by Heisman candidate Malcome. Auburn added a field goal to make it 10-7 and the Tigers took that lead into halftime. Georgia claimed its fist lead of the game after Malcome scored a TD in the third quarter. The Bulldogs added a couple late scores to put this game out of reach. The gameball goes to Malcome who rushed for 136 yards and scored 2 of Georgia's 3 touchdowns. Next up for Georgia is South Carolina. This is the Bulldogs' last game of the regular season and they need a win to stay in striking distance of a BCS Championship berth.

    On Who?
    Notre Dame Smashes Wisconsin 35-17
Sophomore WR Cliff Williams goes up for the touchdown early in the 3rd quarter against the Badgers
South Bend, IN -- Notre Dame continues to roll against their opponents this time beating a talented, despite their record, Wisconsin Badger team yesterday in South Bend. QB Reggie Williams continued to find his WR and recruit mate with the same last name in Cliff Williams for 2 touchdowns on the day. Reggie Williams was 13 for 26 for 2 touchdowns and an interception on the day. WR Cliff Williams had three catches for 69 yards and two touchdowns. Another Sophomre WR, Steven Blake had 3 catches for 53 yards.
The Irish run game continued to roll with George Atkinson rumbling for 123 yards on 27 carries and his teammate Frank Pierre netting 38 yards on 7 carries. The Irish defense continues to dominate corralling two more interceptions and two sacks on the day. The defense held the Badgers to 5 first downs and 272 yards on the day, 98 of which came on a long run by the Badgers at the end of the second quarter.
Next week the Irish host their bitter rivals the USC Trojans in a matchup which is huge for both teams and has BCS Bowl implications.
