The Oregon's new spread offensive attack is starting to click as the Ducks piled up 565yds, 23 1st downs, and 65 points. New starting QB Berry threw for 326yds 2 TD. Williams and Seastrunk combined for 176yds 4 TD on the ground. 7 different palyers caught passes and Simmons led all wideouts with 7 rec 112yds. The defense pitched its first shutout and was led by DE Washignton's 3 sacks.

My defense had a lot of trouble tackling and the backers were a bit slow to get to the ball. Somehow, their QB had an amazing game through the air, and kept throwing it to the same receiver over my best corner, who kept missing the ball. Their QB also kept using unrealistic pitches - he should be kicked!

The hokie offense can score with anyone though.

    Should be an interesting season.

I'm about done with this team. Playing catchup all game is more frustrating than fun. Allowed over 500 passing yards. More in disbelief that I am angry. How can my QB overthrow his receivers so badly (18/43) and throw for 5 INTs? That is unaccetable. My team can't seem to cover anything, zone, man, the Clemson QB was eating me alive. And the picks...the defense knew exactly what I was calling the whole game, regardless if it was pass, run, option.

We will be lucky to get a bowl this year. Forget the ACC, my new goal is a bowl.

The Bulldogs rolled into Columbia and played a solid game for the win. The defense played well all game, intercepting the first pass of the game and finishing with 3 INT. On offense, the passing game looked rusty, with multiple drops and some throws that were not accuracy. The run game was fantastic, with backup RB Cole going over 100 yards and starting HB Malcome going for 90.

If things couldn't get worse for the Gamecocks, Georgia also went into their state and signed the #4 overall DE Nick Chase. Chase is a good fit in a 3-4 scheme.

Georgia has a titanic matchup with Penn St next week.

Florida State rebounded in a big way following last weeks loss to USC. The Seminoles forced their first of 5 fumbles on the opening kickoff. It would be the only one we would recover on the day. We proceeded to hand the ball off 5 straight times to Kevin Lester. The 5th run resulted in his first of 4 TD's on the day. Early in the 2nd quarter dissaster struck. Scott Jones tore a pectoral muscle and will miss the next 3 weeks. Fortunately for us he should not miss any user cames and is on schedule to be back for our game with Miami. RS Freshman Dusty Daily would get a chance to show off his cannon arm and he looks promising. He was a little inaccurate on throws, but he was able to throw a nice deep ball. Next week we play GT who just gave VT a run for their money.

    Key Stats:
    QB Dusty Daily 13/20 301 yards 3TD 0INT
HB Kevin Lester 54 rushing yards 3TD, 71 recieving yards 1TD
    WR Victor Simpson 4-77 1TD
    WR Randy Hall 4-75 1TD
MLB Jeff Luc 6 tackles 2FF
    CB Lemarcus Joyner 1 INT

Auburn was overmatched in this contest but it took awhile for the LSU offense to warm up. McDaniel had 2 1st half INTs and only led 10-0 at halftime. LSU picked it up in the second half, had 2 TD passes from McDaniel and a TD run from Jahkari Gore. JC Copeland had 2 key sacks in a big defensive effort. McDaniel threw for 347 yards and 3 TDs. He had 3 INTs also. Next the Tigers will host Mississippi St.
