    Georgia 24
    Georgia Tech 7

This game was surprisingly close in the fourth quarter with that game tied at 7. The Yellow Jackets had possession but fumbled the ball. It was scooped by UGA and returned for a TD. On the next possession, GT fumbled again and this led to a UGA field goal. The final blow of the game was HB2 Cunningham's second rush TD. This sealed the victory and Georgia fans can breathe easier. The offense was putrid in this game after an almost flawless game against USC. Hopefully the team returns to form for the LSU game in a couple weeks.

    Washington 28
    #14 Iowa 31

This game came down to turnovers as Iowa was +2 on the turnover margin, intercepting Washington 3 times and generating points off of two of those. Washington intercepted Iowa in the first half that led to their own TD to tie the game back up 21-21 at halftime, that gave the Huskies 14 points in the last 1:19 of the half. Iowa added a FG in the third quarter to retake the lead 24-21 and that would hold until the fourth quarter when I forgot my kicker's range is non-existent and was way short on a 52 yard FG. Washington answered and marched it right down the field and scored the go-ahead TD with 1:46 left in the game and 28-24 lead. Iowa quickly answered in 3 or 4 plays, the biggest a 62 yard pass to E.J Turner that set up the game winning TD with just over a minute remaining in the game. Iowa got a pick to seal the game as Washington tried to answer again.

Good game. Shouldn't have tried to force that last pick, but I swear your DE was offside and thought I might have a free play.

Ann Arbor, MI -- Notre Dame got the win they were looking for on the road against a very tough Michigan team. Words can't describe how huge this game was not only for the Big 10 standings, but for the psyche of the Irish. Last season the Irish were embarrassed in South Bend by Michigan.
"You can say we remembered that game. It wasn't all we focused on, but we definately remember last season and we wanted to make sure that didn't happen again," Coach Kelly stated during his post-game press conference.
The Irish started the game with a bang when on their first play from scrimmage running back George Atkinson took a hand off 70 yards to the house. Michigan was able to mount a long drive of their own and answered back with a field goal to make the score 7-3 Irish at the end of the first quarter.
The second quarter was all Michigan. The Wolverines dominated the quarter and were able to put up 17 unanswered points to make the score 20-7 in favor of the Wolverines at half. Notre Dame was able to answer back with a touchdown and Michigan scored after to make the game 27-14 going into the fourth quarter.
When the fourth quarter started the Irish defiantly had a lot of work to do, and the defense was able to do their part. The Irish defense was able to force two interceptions one of which came near the very end of the game when Michigan was driving into field goal range to try for a game winning field goal. The Irish offense was able to come alive in the fourth quarter with Sophmore QB Reggie Williams leading the way in his first big test in college. GG HovaTheGodMC this was an insane game. Hope we get a rubber match next season!
There is no rest for the weary as next week the Irish face another huge test against a divisional opponent when they take on the Iowa Hawkeyes.
    Players of the Game:
    QB Reggie Williams
    10 for 18 174 yards 3 TD 0 Int
    CB Tony Lane
    2 tackles 2 Int

Great game man, we just could not make the sealing play.. dropped INTs and dropped first downs. Hopefully we get to play next year! I am not sure what is up with the big ten schedule rotation, makes no sense
