    Alabama - 55
    Utah - 21

The Crimson Tide are the National Champions. Utah came out quickly and scored first but found themselves down 42-7 at the half. They put up 2 more TDs in the 2nd half but never threatened Alabama. Matt Miles showed up big in his final game for the Crimson Tide. He caught 7 balls for 144 yards and scored 3 TDs. Adam Brown led the rushing attack with 7 carries for 109 yards and 1 TD. Ryan Horn Threw for 227 yards and 5 TDs and ran for 86 yards. He should be the starting QB next season. The defense was led by Senior Zach Carter. He had 9 total tackles with 2 TFL. Terry Coleman also had a big day with 2 sacks.

Can't decide how I want to approach my WR situation for this Georgia game. I'm going to be moving brown to the outside, but I can't decide if I want Wiggins or Oliver in the slot. Hmm

Just a quick note, I will be playing my starters the full game against West Virginia and I'm not letting off the gas.

Check your depth charts. If you have a kicker playing punter or vice versa, switch them. This can cause a glitch in bowl games.

Mistakes lost the Tigers this game. Since my starter got injured with a fractured wrist the backup came in with ZERO accuracy. Since the Tigers were used to passing this game we continued to do it but that didn't go to well, at the end of the day we had 3 INT's and just too many dropped passes. The running game was solid but that still didn't help as we came up short. I wonder how next season will play out.

Alright, we're still having the problem. Doesn't look like we'll be able to play this one.

    Miami - 58

    Tulsa - 13

Young sets records, Brooks has huge day.

This is exactly why you don't pit 8-4 against 6-6, it isn't going to end well. The REAL Hurricanes put a hurt on the Golden Hurricanes today as both quarterbacks had huge games. The defense started off sluggish but picked it up and held Tulsa to a scoreless second half. Even forcing and recovering two fumbles. QB Jamar Young would set the NCAA Career Records for Passing TD and Passing Yards today shortly before he took a huge sack, dislocating his ankle and knocking him out for the game. Nonetheless his Legacy is cemented into the NCAA Record books and is the best QB Miami has ever seen in terms of stats. FR QB Patrick Brooks would step in for the injured star, his first bowl appearance and would throw for 3 TD's. FR DE Dowdell played a nice roll as he would force a fumble on a wild play where the QB pitched the ball to no one, the offense recovered and then Dowdell came from behind and ripped it out. CB McCoy also had a big day as he recovered both fumbles. A big day for Miami players, now the Seniors can go home happy they were able to bring home the bowl trophy.

Miami finishes up the season at 9-4 (6-2). Hopefully the offseason is nice to us because we have some big shoes to fill!!

    Stats

    J. Young - 15/25, 338 yards, 3 TD
    P. Brooks - 14/22, 255 yards, 3 TD

    J. George - 15 Att, 110 yards, TD

    B. Weber - 6 Rec, 138 yards, TD
    D. Bass - 6 Rec, 133 yards, TD
    C. Patterson - 5 Rec, 124 yards, 2 TD
    B. Tremblay - 3 Rec, 70 yards, TD
    D. O'Connor - 3 Rec, 59 yards

    T. Davis - 10 Tackles
    A. Dowdell - 5 Tackles, 5 TFL, FF
    A. Samuel - 7 Tackles
    D. McCoy - 3 Tackles, 1 Defl, FF, 2 FR

    Wire Highlights

    1) Young to Weber TD
    2) Crazy multifumble play
    3) Brooks to Bass TD
    4) Brooks to Patterson TD
    5) Brooks to Tremblay TD

The Nittany Lions senior class didn't get its chance to play for a title game, but the group made sure to go out with a victory. Senior halfback Kyle Goss had a big day on the ground with 187 yards and a touchdown. Senior Ashton Sykes was efficient passing for 178 yards, completing 7 of 11 passes and tossing 2 touchdown. The long TD of the day was a 54 yard strike that was hauled in by senior Johnathon Gray. On defense Penn State completely shut down running back Danny Jackson. He only managed 20 yards on 13 carries. The pass game piled up a bit more yards between the 2 quarterbacks, but never got into scoring range. Starter Derrick Mason completed just 5 of 19 pass attempts, and he missed some time due to injury in this game. His backup outplayed him during those times. Don Roberts completed 5 of 7 passes for 108 yards, but he threw the only interception of this game.

This win means Penn State should finish #2 in the country behind National Championship winner Alabama. Next season will be interesting for Penn State. The Nittany Lions lose 19 seniors this season, and almost all are starters. The team has an impressive recruiting class this year so some of the freshmen may get a shot to play early.

    First Quarter
04:34 TD Penn State Marcus Jenkins FS #45 40 yard fumble
01:40 TD Penn State Brett Smith WR #84 15 yard pass from Ashton Sykes QB #13
    Second Quarter
03:42 FG Penn State Jeremy Harrell K #5 30 yard field goal
01:07 TD Penn State Jonathan Gray WR #83 54 yard pass from Ashton Sykes QB #13
00:00 FG Penn State Jeremy Harrell K #5 37 yard field goal
    Third Quarter
04:41 FG Penn State Jeremy Harrell K #5 48 yard field goal
03:06 FG Penn State Jeremy Harrell K #5 44 yard field goal
00:41 TD Penn State William Keller HB #30 8 yard rush
    Forth Quarter
04:06 FG Penn State Jeremy Harrell K #5 26 yard field goal
03:30 TD Penn State Kyle Goss HB #31 48 yard rush

Had to restart this game because of some wierd OT glitch. I intercepted Texas in OT and they gave them the ball and they scored to win. I should have gotten the ball.

I had a user bowl work 2 years ago too. Guess it is random. It sucks, I'll be careful what I say about EA because I am sure the Operation Sports mods will suspend me if I say its their fault.
