    Georgia 56
    South Carolina 3

Georgia's combination of speed and power was the difference in this game. The Bulldogs had 3 halfbacks rush for more than 135 yards. HB1 Cunnigham led the way with 174 yards, while HB3 Swan added 136. Late in the game HB4 Herron, true freshman, came into the game. His first carry of the game was a 77 yard TD. He finished the game with 9 carries and 152 yards. QB Adams did not get many chances to pass the ball, but he did throw a short TD pass to Mitchell. Georgia attempted only 10 passes throughout the entire game. The run/pass ratio for this game was 58/10. Defensively, the Bulldogs didn't give up many yards. The Gamecocks finished with just over 200 yards offense, but did avoid turnovers. The key was 3rd down conversion success. Georgia converted on 75% of 3rd down tries while South Carolina finished at 20%.

The entire offensive line is awarded the game ball. Georgia's team rushing totals were 58 carries 480 yards 7 rush TD.

Note: HB2 Jenkins is out for a few more weeks with an injury and I only have 3 healthy halfbacks, so Cunningham did get a few late game carries.

    #4 Michigan 45
    #21 Nebraska 28

Michigan got into a war this weekend in Nebraska nearly losing to the Huskers. The game was tight throughout with both offenses rolling all over. The Nebraska HB was F!cking unstoppable, breaking tackles left and right and rushing for 252 yards. HB Rawls was strong as well with 180 YDS and 4 TDs. The difference in the game was turnovers late by Nebraska. Big Red had more turnovers than the Pillsbury DoughBoy with 6 on the day. Michigan now heads home for the biggest game of Hova's career, the BUCKEYES.

    QB T Jones 105.6 Rating 15/34 218 YDS, 2 TDs, 2 INTs
HB Rawls 36 Carries, 180 YDS, 4 TDs
WR Bain 7 Rec, 69 YDS, TD

    Michigan State 28

Iowa's defense forces three turnovers on the road, 2 interceptions (one pick six) and a fumble, which turns into 17 Iowa points and gets the Hawkeyes another win. The Spartans played tough all game but the three turnovers just killed them and they couldn't get anything going on the ground. That didn't stop them from throwing for over 400 yards and 4 TDs though. Iowa had a pretty balanced offense with QB Adam Reese throwing for 262 yards and 3 TD's with TE Ray Hamilton leading the way in receiving with 6 receptions 115 yards and a TD. WR E.J. Turner also chipped in with 6 receptions for 91 yards and a sweet one handed TD reception on a ball thrown behind him. HB Damon Bullock went over the century mark late with 117 yards and a TD as well.

Iowa closes out its season with a nice win and will start prepping for the conference title game in a couple of weeks.

So WR Alvin Malone returned the opening kickoff for a TD and the Buckeyes were rolling in front of the home fans in a snowy Ohio Stadium. The Illini would answer with a FG, behind the arm of their QB. Illinois' QB would start the game something like 17 for 19. After scoring to take a 14-3 lead, the Buckeyes would sleepwalk and be tied 17-17 at the half. Illinois received the ball in the second half and scored with ease for a 24-17 lead. Braxton Miller then threw an INT on the next possession, which Illinois cashed in for a FG. The Buckeyes were stopped on their next possession, as Braxton Miller couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Illinois had momentum and the lead, but Ron Zook got greedy and called a pass play on 1st and 10. Illinois' QB threw right into cover 2 and it was returned for a TD. The QB was shook and would not recover, as the Buckeyes ran off 31 straight points en route to a home win.

Next week is The Game in the big outhouse.

    ASU - 48
    Arizona - 10

It was a hard fought game throughout, but a fourth quarter push helped the Sun Devils past rival Arizona. The defense really stepped up, allowing under 300 yards of total offense while forcing 4 turnovers. They also held the Arizona QB to only 46% completion and four interceptions, one returned 94 yards for a touchdown.

Offensively, the show was run by QB Michael Eubanks, who threw for just under 200 yards and a 66% completion rate. They Sun Devils are now 7-4 and likely clinched a spot in a bowl game heading into their last game against Colorado.

    M. Eubanks - 18/27, 284 yds, 3 TD/0 INT

    L. Peterson - 17 att, 97 yds, 2 TD

    F. Neal - 4 rec, 45 yds, 2 TD
    A. Ball - 3 rec, 34 yds
    R. Haynes - 3 rec, 41 yds
    J. Robison - 3 rec, 88 yds, TD
    A. McMillan - 2 rec, 45 yds
