    Alabama - 65
    Miss State - 0

This was just ugly. Mississippi State should have just stayed home. The Crimson Tide defense allowed only 82 yards of total offense and 7 first downs. The Alabama offense was just as dominant. They put up 511 yards rushing and 180 yards passing. The rushing attack was again led by freshman Joe McKinley. He went for 145 yards on 8 carries and 3 TDs. Joey Taylor had 88 yards. The receivers were led by a freshman also. Joel Carter had 6 catches for 84 yards and 2 TDs. Jake Carlson had another strong game. He totaled 11 tackles (1 TFL), 1 sack and pass deflection. He also put up 90 yards in the return game. Alabama has now allowed only 71 points through 8 games.

    USC 63
    Arizona 14

USC destroys Arizona at home, leading at halftime 49-0 and sending the starters to the bench. QB Fields once again sat out with an injury, as QB Wilson got his second consecutive start, once again playing great. He passed for 248 yards and threw 4 TDs. HB's Slaughter and Hicks both had 100 yard games, the first this season. All three starting WRs had TDs and the defense played great most of the game. USC travels to Washington next week.

    Oregon- 30
    UCLA- 10

The Bruins struck first, but their 7-0 lead would not last long. 4 UCLA ints' later the Ducks were able to score 30 unanswered on there way to clinch their 1st Pac 10 title. Booker was the difference on the ground with 150yds 1 TD and the Oregon offense was able to make plays when they needed, especially on 3rd down. Oregon needs some help, but there still might be a backdoor open to the BCS title game....

Michigan walks off with a 41-17 victory over Purdue
Ike Philips was on fire throwing for 500 yards on 26 of 35 attempts. Hakim Taylor had 70 yards on 15 carries. Wrs Newton and Thurman both went well over 100 yards receiving. Defensively the Wolverines were stout slowling the Boliermakers spread offense to 17 points with a late touchdown coming in garbage time. Michigan looks forward to Minnesota and Northwestern before "the Game" against Ohio STate and a big out of conference game against Alabama......

VT keeps its perfect season and hopes for a national title alive with a big win over conference opponent Miami by a margin of 34-10.

The game started off with a pick 6 on the first play of the game by Parker. From there, Tech put up 10 more points and looked to put the game out of reach completely until Miami scored a field goal with 34 seconds left. Unfortunately for the Hurricanes, WR Brandon Spencer turned a slant route into a 50 yard TD after breaking several tackles to put his team up 24-3 at halftime. From there, the Hokies pretty much tried to milk the clock and the Hurricanes tried unsuccessfully to get back in the game. Miami's run defense played quite well aside from the 52 yard scamper by Arnold.
