    Wake - 7

Aside from one long pass for a TD, this game was complete domination by Virginia Tech. They were able to pound out over 300 yards rushing and held the Demon Deacons to less than 150 yards of offense. Freshman Safety Jason Reid had another stellar game, intercepting a pass and forcing a fumble.

On a side note... It looks as if the ACC Championship game will be a rematch of Virginia Tech v Clemson... a game which ended up a last second field goal.

    Penn State 44
    Iowa 9

This game started off well for Iowa. The Hawkeyes drove the field and got a field goal to open the game. On Penn State's ensuing drive Eddie Darby misread the defense and it led to a pick 6. Iowa's kicker shanked the extra point but the Hawkeyes still led 9-0 early in the first. Penn State's offense would continue to struggle and eventually Darby was pulled from the game. Seth Nelson came into the game and finally got things moving. He led a long drive down the field in second quarter which resulted in a short TD by William Johnson. This gave Penn State its first lead of the game at 10-9. The lead would not change hands the remainder of the game. Penn State's offense finally got rolling and the defense played terrific throughout this game. The play of the game was a 76 yard TD pass from Nelson to freshman Tramon Clark. Clark had his biggest game of his college career with 127 yards receiving and a 38 yard rushing. Nelson was solid, but unspectacular in relief of Darby. He finished 9-17 with 220 yards 1 TD/1 INT. No indication on which quarterback will start next week. True freshman QB Calvin Barber probably stays on as second string, but he provided a big boost to the run game. He finished this game with 8 carries for 124 yards and 2 TD, including a 78 yard TD at the very end of this game.

    USC 35
    Washington 0

USC dominates Washington with the return of star QB Greg Fields, who went 13/14 and threw 3 TDs and 1 INT. He connected with phenom freshman Chaz Adams 3 times. HB Hicks ran for 48 YDS and 2 TDs as well. The defense continues to improve only giving up 7 points the last 2 weeks. USC takes on Oregon St next week.

    Alabama - 45
    LSU - 7

This game started off with turnovers. Alabama intercepted a pass on the opening drive and then LSU quickly returned the favor by recovering a fumble. The Crimson Tide regrouped after this mistake but LSU was not able to recover. LSU would turn the ball over 2 more times during the game. Ryan Horn and Joe McKinley led the way on offense. Horn passed for 252 yards and 2 TD while rushing for 33 yards and a TD. McKinley hit the 100 yard mark again with 109 yards and 1 TD. Ryan McGee led the receivers with 156 yards on 4 catches and 1 TD. Defensively, Jake Carlson was the leader. He had 7 tackles (1 TFL), 1 pass deflection, and 1 sack. This game disconnected early in the 3rd quarter and LSU elected to have me finish against the CPU. I removed my starters shortly after this happened and put the accelerated clock on for the remainder of the game.

    Michigan Rolls.....45-7

    First Quarter

05:54 TD Michigan Andy Anthony WR #88 71 yard pass from Isaac Phillips QB #13
02:27 TD Michigan Michael Mosby WR #10 49 yard pass from Isaac Phillips QB #13

    Second Quarter

02:39 TD Minnesota Scott Bell HB #26 1 yard rush
03:38 FG Michigan Ricky Oliver P #43 39 yard field goal
00:48 TD Michigan Jeff Newton WR #14 37 yard pass from Isaac Phillips QB #13

    Third Quarter

04:27 TD Michigan Thad Watson TE #86 16 yard pass from Isaac Phillips QB #13
02:30 TD Michigan Jason Thurman WR #82 35 yard pass from J.J. Randolph QB #1

    Forth Quarter

06:11 TD Michigan Hakim Taylor HB #48 17 yard rush

The Gophers are average to below average... on defense... they are below average... and the Wolverines ran wild on them... throwing the ball all over the place.... The Wolverines defense was extremely stout, but much can not be made of this based on the offense they were going against....

Well I'm sure we will have a spot open if you change your mind. :)

Getting very difficult to fill the vacant teams, we have like 3 openings at the moment.

Dan F will continue to play his games and recruit, but he does not have the time to actively participate so I will be looking for a replacement in the meanwhile. We also won't wait for him on advancing if he didnt make his game.

Let me know if you guys no anybody interested in a Bucks team or another Big Ten team

We aren't quite up to "Deuce speed" but we usually advance every 24-48 hours.

Just make sure Buckeyes are available for me in next year's game :)
