Michigan hosted the Badgers this afternoon and after a little rust offensively coming out of the bye week dominated the tempo of the game. QB Isaac Phillips went over the three hundred passing yard mark with his solid accuracy on the day. His favorite target Nick Peoples hauled in two of Phillips' three TD tosses. Defensively Michigan played bend bit don't break style of football luring the Badgers into three second half turnovers.

    Mighty Bruins!
    40-16
Los Angeles, CA (AP) -- UCLA knocks off their nerdy brother Cal in convincing fashion. Lee Downing threw the ball 39 times for 338yd and 2TD, and Bates topped 107yd on the ground. Barber recorded 2 sacks. The Bruins look like they are going to roll through a large portion of the schedule and could end up 9-0 or 10-0 before they see a loss. Two BYE weeks have kept stats low, but Hurd and Downing look to be putting together a record year. Downing started the season on the Heisman watch list. Lets see if he can climb back up there in the next few weeks.

    Alabama - 62
    Florida - 3

Alabama continues to dominate the SEC. Florida did not put up much of a fight in today's game. Joe McKinley continues to make a case for Freshman of the Year. He carried the ball 15 times for 137 yards and 1 TD. Ryan Horn threw for 205 yards and rushed for 51 more. He scored 4 total TDs. Backup QB John Bowling came in late in the 3rd quarter and accomplished a rare feat. He threw a TD, caught a TD, and rushed for a TD. Ryan McGee had a good game at the receiver position. He caught 5 passes for 111 yards and 1 TD. The defense created 3 turnovers and sacked the QB 2 times. 2 of the 3 turnovers came by way of Will Rivers interceptions.

    Miami - 28

    BC - 16

    QB's Suck

Wide open receivers all day, overthrown all day. Miami managed to win this one thanks to the return of HB Davis (who left with another injury) who took each handoff at least 6 yards. Pretty uneventful, no interceptions thrown for once.

    Miami is now 3-2 (2-1).
