    UNC 14

As usual, this game was hard fought from both sides. Virginia Tech struggled mightily on offense, and the defense allowed some big plays. However, some big plays were made on both sides of the ball that allowed them to achieve victory and remain undefeated.

Marcus McGee broke 100 yards rushing for the second consecutive week.
The defensive freshman all continued their outstanding seasons, combining for 5 sacks and 3 interceptions.

    LSU 42

This was a tougher game than the Tigers bargined for in Baton Rouge. UK opened scoring in the 1st quarter with a TD run. LSU would not answer until shortly after the 2nd quarter began. Carl Johnson cashed in on a 2 yard run. UK answered with a 78 yard TD strike. LSU would add 2 TD passes before the half to take the lead 21-14. LSU and UK traded possessions in the 3rd quarter before Eric Martin hooked up wth Greg Mitchell. UK answered to cut the lead to just 7. Quinton Ward added his second receiving TD as the 3rd quarter expired. Carl Johnson added one more TD before the game ended. Eric Martin went 17-30 for 338 yards and 4 TDs. Carl Johnson had 18 attempts for 93 yards and 2 TDs.

    Penn State 21
    Michigan 16

The Nittany Lions stole this win. In fact after the game police were spotted taking the PSU coach into custody. The initial reports stated Penn State may have bribed Michigan kicker Ricky Oliver, but turns out that was not true. He is just very bad. He missed 2 kicks inside 39 yards and an an extra point. The biggest crime in the game may have occurred in the last 15 seconds. Out of timeouts Michigan got the ball to the Penn State 2-yard line. Unfortunately the Wolverines could not snap the ball before time expired.

The Penn State offense played Jekyll and Hyde football, like the team has done most of this season. Eddie Darby found Brett Smith on a couple long TD passes (67 and 72). The 67 yard pass was thrown into the endzone, so Darby has one of the best arms in college football. Unfortunately he also made some poor decisions in this game resulting in 2 picks. The final TD was scored on the ground, and came in the last minute of the game. William Johnson punched in the short TD to give Penn State the 5 point lead.

@JKRawlins - Good game man, you should have won this game
