vs. RIVALRY GAME40 - 21 Cal Intercepts UCLA 3 times in 1st Quarter to run away with game
Cal QB Kline had his best game by far this season against rival UCLA. QB Kline was able to march his Bears up and down the field as UCLA often brought the aggressive blitzing linebackers in an attempt to shut down Cal RB Smith. Kline finished the day 17/25 for 187 yards and 4 touchdowns. He did throw a pick late when being aggressive. It was good to see the Cal offense work on it's passing game as it squeaked through 3 user games with its stellar defense.
Cal's defense came and brought the pain early against UCLA. They had three INT in the 1st quarter setting up Cal with great field possession on the first 3 of its 4 drives. Cal's defense collects 3 int and 6 sacks on the day. Just another day at the office.

Iowa wins late over ASU25-20 Iowa would open the game with a crisp 70 yard drive that featured the new rushing attack out of more balanced formation playbook. Iowa featured an offense that was much more basic than the FleXbox One triple option. The Iowa would show that this offense could be fun to play as they scored the first 13 points of the game. Then after a late first half FG by ASU, Iowa would see what they could do. Unfortunately Iowa would try to throw a screen pass and would throw it right to the ASU defender for an easy TD. The half would end with Iowa up 13-10. ASU would open the half with a good drive at the beginning of the half. The drive featured an opportunistic passing game and a solid rush attack to go down and tie the game at 13 points each. The rest of the 3rd quarter would be all Iowa as they would have 2 Drives that would end in FG attempts and Makes by new Kicker the Punter Cantrell. ASU would open the the 4th quarter with another good drive this time they ended the drive with a great touchdown catch. Giving them the lead for the first time in the game 20-19 over Iowa. Iowa would being to drive and it would stall forcing them to punt back to ASU who would have the chance to put the game away. Iowa would get an interception and put them in good field position to take the lead. Iowa would run it right down the field and they would score the TD and go for 2. Stewart would be sacked on the 2 pt conversion. ASU would again start to drive however at midfield Iowa would add another interception allowing them to seal up the game.
